25 Dummy Rounds - Display Pieces Silver - Fits in 45 Cal Loops

Some reviews were not so good, but I bypassed them hoping product was improved. All 25 were perfectly made and really set off the dark to lighter leather perfectly. Very happy I chose these instead of the ones that have the hole in the side. Very authentic and the silver/chrome is great!

I had a custom leather western gun belt/holster rig made for my .45 Colt. Since I keep all my guns & ammo locked in a safe, I purchased a non-firing replica .45 Colt Peacemaker to keep in the holster for display in my Man Cave. I wanted dummy .45 Colt cartridges to store in the belt for the display also. These fit the bill. I reload my own ammo so I know the components. These are made with new genuine Starline Nickle plated brass per the head stamp. They wont tarnish in your leather gun belt like brass does. They also have realistic looking Primers. The bullets are Nickle plated too but are not real bullets. These are a true 1:1 scale .45 Colt cartridge. They have a nice contrast to the black leather belt. These are the best looking .45 Colt dummy cartridges I have seen. Some companies make theirs using spent tarnished Brass with spent primers with a hole drilled in the side (not realistic ammo to me). This seller offers these in new Brass also. To keep brass from tarnishing in the leather, first airbrush them with clear finger nail polish diluted with airbrush thinner about 60/40. Either way these dummy cartridges in Nickle or Brass are a winner and the most realistic you will find anywhere. Most .45 Colt guns belts come with 12-24 cartridge loops. This pack of 25 can fill most gun belts entirely. A quality replica is always more realistic than a sub-par replica. You get both quality and realism with these. Worth every penny spent.

Nice addition to add authenticity to my western gun belt. Just what I was looking for to dress up my rig and add a touch of style. One slight negative... very pricey. Quality isn't cheap though, and I'd rather pay up and be satisfied with my purchase. I am.

Exact size, weight, feel and look of real 45 cal. Western bullets. Although ‘pricy’ they suited my need for decor purposes.

Very nice dummy ammunition. Uses genuine Starline cartridge casings. The "bullet" projectile is light, but these are after all just for show. Nice looking dummy primer too.

The media could not be loaded. I just received these in the mail yesterday. They are as pictured, however three were damaged upon opening the package (see pictures and video attached, that I did take upon opening initially because I was worried about the quantity, which was accurate). I will be contacting the company to see about getting replacements for the damaged ones. I bet I could fix the damage ones, but for this price, I shouldn't have to. I am a little worried about the bullets getting pushed in on the good ones (or any replacements). Not sure exactly what holds the bullet in place in the case, but I can see more of them getting pushed in if I am not careful. I bought them for a halloween costume, so I will just put them in the belt and hopefully never have any issues with them. I will edit this post with the response from the company on the damage and how easily it was to get replacements.Update: the seller was more than happy to send three replacements, and they arrived free of charge in a couple of days. I have updated the rating to reflect.

Fairly expensive for this many pieces, and very minimal detail, all one color. But it’s as pictured.
