Great bed, long assembly time.
We originally bought this bed from Wayfair 3 years ago. We lost our house in a fire and were ready to buy again as we thought it was nice. This time Wayfair was out of stock (under a different brand name) but we found it on Amazon under the DG Casa name. As others have said, the instructions are so-so. It will take 2 competent people about 4 hours and you will need the following to assemble this: basic hand tools, hammer, screwdrivers, a sense of humor, and a bottle of good bourbon. We bought the king size, you will need some space to spread out. Take your time and you will be fine. The delivery took about a week and came in 6 large boxes, some are quite heavy. In our case, box #3 contained the wrong color pieces. I contacted the seller and they were super responsive and happy to rectify the problem once I sent them some photos. We like the bed as it looks nice and the 4 drawers offer tons of storage. There are a lot of reviews about things not fitting right. We found this to be true on the first bed as I had to shim some of the drawer slides with washers to get them to operate better. On this bed everything fits great. I'm not sure if we got better pieces or that we had some previous experience in putting one together and we just did a better job on making sure everything was aligned when we screwed it together.Pro Tip - Go to your local big box store and get a cheap rubber mallet to smack some things together if needed (a hammer will dent things) and 3 extra 1 x 3's (they're a couple bucks each) to put across the inside frame for added support. Just some added peace of mind if you do a lot of "bowling" in bed.For the money, it's a great deal, take your time.

Pain in the you know what, but worth it!
This is my second one of these. My first was a queen, this time got a king. It is a night mare to put together. Directions are awful and you'll probably be missing a screw/dowel or two so have your tool box handy. It is very pretty, very sturdy, and the drawers are awesome for clothes. It arrives in 6 boxes, so that too is a pain. Lots to clean up. But I would buy it again!

Beautiful bed!!!
Love the bed!!! Worth the 5 hours to assemble. The instructions weren’t great, and the bed arrived in 6 boxes delivered at 3 different times. Seller was very responsive to questions about tracking the shipment. Would buy from them again.

Poor Customer Service & Drawer Parts
Amazon does not support this product regarding returns or product issues. You have to go to manufacturer DG Casa directly. I'm unable to upload any photos of it for some reason. Ive told them one side of each drawer falls because the drawer slides are defective on that side. There's a difference in how those parts are manufactured compared to the other side. I've told them this several times and they sent me a heavy box of the drawer parts twice over the span of 2 months now, and the parts are exactly the same: useless. Guess I'll have to go to the hardware store. But if I knew this would be so difficult I wouldn't have purchased. I don't even really want it now.

Nice bed, very time consuming
It’s a nice frame. Got a Queen since it was cheaper and it’s time to upgrade my mattress anyway from a full. Bed currently sits high since it’s on a box spring. It was very hard to assemble and took a lot of time. Instructions were easy to understand, especially for someone who works better with images. Definitely struggled on my own, so it’s better to have some help when building it. Overall, I think it’s a good purchase. Just waiting on my queen mattress to fix some parts I had given up on and see the final results.

Not Real Studs on the Headboard
It’s a good sturdy bed but a real pain to put together it comes in like 100 pieces. Also. The “studs” on the wings of the headboard aren’t actually studs and are way more shiny than the picture of the product let’s on which was disappointing for me.

Other bad reviews are on point
Given the number of good reviews of this bed, I was skeptical of the bad ones. I figured: "how bad can it be?"Well.. It's bad. The bad smell did take a while to air out. The assembly instruction is indeed terrible. The quality of wood is below average. Screwing in a few screws split the boards. What the hell? And there is barely any spare parts. I'm hoping like hell the bed won't fall apart (week 2). I'll update again later..Update:Got a notification that one person found this review helpful, which reminded me for an update. So the bed hasn't fallen apart. However, I have found a couple of things annoying. One: a couple of the drawers are harder to open, you have to open them at a certain angle. Two: it's very easy to stub your toes around the corners for whatever reason. I think it's because there is a good width between the edge of the base of the bed and the mattress itself. So we're thinking the bed is smaller than it actually is and kicking the base of the bed.Otherwise the bed is still holding up. We don't do a lot of extra curricular activities on it though because we have two little babies so I cannot speak to that aspect. The drawers are good to have. They definitely add the much-needed storage space. The smell has been gone for a while now. I wanted to bump it to three stars since it's held up but decided to keep it at 2 because it's still below average given the quality of the material and instructions.

Love my beautiful bed, perfect!
Building the bed definitions takes time, and patience. It's a two person job, but is WORTH it.Nice and solid, love the extra storage the drawers give me. I used them to store linens and extra pillows.
