Amazing condition and quality
So at first I was pretty worried about purchasing because some of the reviews had me questioning the quality of the product or the one where someone received the 2nd one instead of the first one. However the quality was amazing everything was included and the case was in excellent condition. The disc was a little dirty at first but I cleaned it and had absolutely no issues. Loved this game growing up and now I get to play it again with my wife and friends. It plays perfectly just like how I remember it.

Incredibly Fun to Play Solo and Co-Op with Endless Replay Value!
Marvel Ultimate Alliance is one of my favorite games on the PS3 hands down. I'll start out with the graphics: nothing to call home about, but generally impressive. The character details are great (down to the voice acting) and the animations for all of the various moves look realistic Presentation: The story is pretty solid if not simple. That being said, it's enough to get you through the game. The star of the game is the MASSIVE array of Marvel characters that you can play as -- MUA includes all your favorites from Spiderman, to Wolverine, to Iron Man and each character boasts his/her own array of costumes, power-ups, and unlockables. Gameplay: A lot of people seem to feel that MUA is nothing more than a game for button mashing -- you can play this way if you'd like, but I've found that if you want to get really good at the game, you have to master combinations along with pulling off your various power moves. I think this elevates the game from the standard button masher and makes it a significant amount more fun. The gameplay doesn't really differ from level to level too much which does get tiring, but every now and then the boss battles change things up and keep things interesting. You can play by yourself or in co-op, and even then, there is true cooperative (no comparisons) vs. arcade mode, in which at the end of every level you or your partner gets awarded extra points for smashing the most bad guys -- this mode gets to be pretty fun! Lasting Appeal: I can't think of another game that I have played so many times from start to finish. There are so many interesting characters and they are all extremely diferent (though for the most part, they break down into melee vs. range combat) and the power-up moves for each are diferent enough that playing through several times can yield a diferent experience each time. I'd give this game an 8.5 out of 10 mainly for the fun (and addictive game-play), its co-op arcade mode, and the number of playable characters that lead to endless replay value. Highly recommend!!

They just don't even try to make 'em like they used to
No spoilers, I promise. Ultimate Alliance is one of the best examples of how amazing the 6th and 7th generation console eras really were. A day in age where DLC, microtransactions, and unfinished games were unheard of. This was the era when a game came out it was the full package of what you were buying. And Ultimate Alliance was one of the games. With the exception of a few characters (sadly, one of them being the Hulk), you can play as any character during this game and each one is unique in its own way. The beginning levels aren't that special but once you get past them it's all uphill from there. There's even an underwater level that was surprisingly fun and interesting, despite being plagued by the usual problems that underwater levels have. The fighting mechanics, while not always great, never get boring. The boss battles are fun and unique. And the headquarters that can act as a main menu are fun to explore (my favorites are the Sanctum Sanctorum and Stark Tower). But the best part are the interactions between characters. While I wish they had provided more voice-acting instead of relying heavily on reading exchanges between them, the dialogue is still amazing and so much fun to read. You gotta remember, this is the era of the mid-2000s, the very fact that you could interact with other characters like Nick Fury, Black Widow and so many others was mind-blowing at the time. This game was truly ahead of its time and the developers have my respect for doing this. Overall, it's an amazing game in my eyes. Maybe its my nostalgia goggles that makes this game seem more amazing than some of you might find it to be or not at all, but you have to judge it by the era it came out in. And yes, it is sadly expensive to buy right now (unless if you can find a cheaper price from someone else and are willing to take the risk). I give Ultimate Alliance a 4/5 and a "Worth owning on your favorite console" approval rating!

Great Game!
I played this on the PC and once I had a PS3 I just had to get it again (especially since I have crated up my PC ... too many viruses and hardware issues). MUA is EPIC and a great game. Graphics are actually quite good, even in 2011. There are many cool heroes to choose from, although several really do not get their nice powers until lvl 20. I played Cap and loved it. The uniforms are really cool and colorful, unlike MUA2. This game is long, lasting 20+ hours or so, and fun throughout. I played this game at least a dozen times, and it still is fun!

Game works but images not as described
Overall I guess that I am happy with the game to have it in hand as a collector tested the game no scratches and it works but the game was not described correctly at all no game manual in the case as described in the picture and the cover is damaged in the back and the game was the UK version it shows in the picture the standard version for North America released in 2006 I suggest the pictures be changed

2 Thumbs Up!
The game came in a good, clean case, no markings. The manual was inside as well in great shape no markings and the disc itself has no scratches or anything & in great shape, not to mention to any Marvel fans out there or RPG fans in general this is a solid game, lots of players to choose from.

Great game!!!!
If you like marvel comics and play video games than look no further. This game has over 20+ marvel characters to play from and many boss characters from the comics. The graphic are good for the PS3 and sound is excellent. The control are great too but I would turn off the motion control off (I do not like the PS3 six-axis).

Old is Gold
I have been wanting this game for a long time and when I saw it available in Amazon and I initially thought it may be a fake , but it is not. The game cd is in mint condition and the game play is very good. Since this game is almost 19 years and graphics are still amazing and if you want to play others characters like Hawkeye, hulk, black widow , cyclops , magneto and sabar tooth ,you have to buy the gold edition or its dlc( which it does not exist anymore since it is an old game). If you want to relieve those nostalgia games, this will be worth to buy.

I'm in love in the HQ graphics of my PS3 game.
I like this game. The graphics are better than Wii or PS2 to me.

PS3 is the Version to Buy
Graphics are a little dated, but this is the best version of the game. Doesn't have the extra characters of the Xbox 360 version, but better graphics and no game crashing bugs (serious issue pop up when you reach Sanctum Sanctorum), it's definitely the better buy for Marvel fans.
