IQ Panel Battery

Manufactured by Qolsys, so yes it is designed for and fits our Qolsys IQ main panel perfectly. Very easy to remove old and insert new (see Qolsys online website for color photos of step-by-step... do make sure you follow their instructions to avoid damaging your Qolsys panel or messing up your software). But the swapping out of the battery (ours had swelled and popped off the bad panel, causing a tamper alarm repeatedly, as so many have experienced with these units). But this is a great OEM battery.

I am relieved the battery works. When first installed it was at 17% and charged to 100% less than 24 hours. No more low battery warning. Don't freak out if you cannot reset the date and time, your cellular signal will reset it within 24 hours.

Update: Today is 10-4-2020. The panel just gave me a tamper warning because this battery has swelled up like a balloon and released the tamper switch. It lasted 3 years and 5 months. It is still holding a charge, but I will replace it due to the swelling.Original Review: Not sure about the quality of these batteries.. First one puffed up after 6 months in the Alarm Panel. Just installed this one and will report back..11-3-2020 Bought a couple non OEM brand batteries and neither worked. Bought another one from Qolsys and it worked immediately.

The product was an exact OEM match. Fit perfectly in the device, all pins matched and installed in under two minutes.
