Key Points: Can be read or used as a reference; photos and charts; provides a model for facilitating growth for parents / care givers; excellent for assessments. We bought this to work with our son and I really feel like some of the tips during his first months made a real difference to his development. There are pictures and diagrams that complimented the guidance provided by the PTs. This book is recommended.

Easy, quick reading. Teaches a test that can be learned in about 20 minutes by a seasoned practitioner. Highly recommended to all Physical Therapists performing evaluations on the 0-18 month population.

Decent read but not necessary to conduct the actually AIMS test. It was a good review of general pediatric theory. The pictures and descriptions of movement patterns were helpful
