Ordered 2 but one had been damaged in transit contacted amazon they sorted the issue out straight away. Product applys really possibly the best sun cream i have used not oily has a pleasant smell. A small bit goes a long way

Just returned from Turkey where temperatures reached 44! My son suffers from prickly heat and his normal creams didn’t protect him this time so he borrowed New Layer from me, it did the job perfectly and the prickly heat disappeared over the next 24-36 hours. Although it’s only spf30 it protected him fine, very waterproof, he didn’t burn at all and still caught a nice tan. This is his new ‘go to’ suncream for holidays….. smells nice too!

This starts as a light lotion. When you put it in your hands, it's slightly thicker. But when you spread it on your face, it's turns into a watery/oily consistency. Very strange however after 10 mins it sinks into the skin. The fragrance isnt strong, waiting for a fragrance free version. Update: I've been using this around my eyes & there is no stinging, no crying eyes & no soreness. Some sunscreen's old filters or new filters can't be used around eyes. This sunscreen with only new filters is fantastic around the eyes. Big win!

I first purchased this in 2019 for a trip to Palau where they don’t want anyone bringing products that harm the ocean & reefs. It is great stuff - a little goes a long way, it smells great and gives great protection. I am repurchasing because I believe this is a great product.

I was looking for an eco friendly sunscreen as I know that most mass market sunscreens contribute in the coral bleaching. I came across this one and what attracted me was design and a very clear statement about no animal testing and no environment impact, plus recyclable packaging ( as I also try not to buy plastic but it is impossible with sun screens). So design is amazing, bottle is nice to hold , you can actually squeeze it. Very minimalist design which I appreciate. The box is also great. I don’t what to throw it away! In terms of the product itself, the aroma is really nice, and it absorbs very fast. I will be testing it outside but, normally, all sunscreens work well on me. All in all, good choice if you care about environment and design.

Would like to know how you remove the sunscreen. Being waterproof it does not wash off. No matter how much you scrub!!

I found this suncream very pricey - however I’ve found a big difference and did exactly what I needed. At last I have found something that dries quickly and is not greasy. This is a must as it’s the first cream to not exacerbate sweating in some of the really hot weather we’ve had. It is also great for the many days of playing in the paddling pool with the family. It stays on the skin well giving great protection for everyone, easy to apply and still keeps the skin from drying out without that greasy thick feeling that usually makes us sweat

Great product, however would have preferred a stronger factor. 30 was okay, but we found despite reapplying many times, especially after swimming, we did end up with a little burn. This was in the Caribbean sun though so perhaps to be expected. Otherwise a great product, I have sensitive skin and had no issues.

S'absorbe bien, se sent à l'aise sur la peau, pas de problèmes avec mes yeux, pas de boutons et un bon parfum qui n'est pas trop présent.

Crema para protegerse del sol de la marca New Layer, me ha sido grata descubrir esta marca, la crema me ha encantado, deja la piel suave y refrescante después de su aplicación. Puede ser utilizada tanto en el cuerpo como en la cara, se absorbe muy bien y no deja restos grasientos. El olor tan agradable es una de las características que más me ha gustado, huele de maravilla. Esta crema es ideal para la piel delicadas, por lo que creo que incluso puede ser utilizada por bebés. El factor es FPS 30, por lo que es una buena protección. Mi experiencia con este producto ha sido muy satisfactoria, me ha gustado mucho.

Der Verzicht auf bedenkliche (Nano-) Sonnenschutzfilter und die Umweltverträglichkeit war bei mir der Kaufgrund für die New Layer Sonnencreme. Nach zwei Wochen Urlaub in der südlichen Toskana bei Temperaturen jenseits von 30 Grad und brennender Sonne muß ich sagen, daß die Sonnencreme wirklich gut funktioniert. Sonnenbrand gab es keinen und Hautunverträglichkeiten (ich bin da recht sensibel) konnte ich auch keine feststellen. Die Creme zieht für ein Sonnenschutzprodukt wirklich sehr schnell ein und hinterläßt dann auch keinen unangenehmen "Klebefilm" auf der Haut. Der sehr angenehme, frische Geruch hat für eine Sonnencreme eine eher unübliche Duftnote und geht meiner Meinung nach etwas Richtung Rosmarin/Latschenkiefer. Bei langen Schnorcheltouren von einer Stunde und mehr habe ich zwar lieber auf die superzuverlässige Suntribe Zinc Sunscreen zurückgegriffen, aber für den normalen Strandbesuch mit etwas Sonnen, Strandsport und Schwimmen ist die Creme absolut zu empfehlen. Die schöne Flasche ist mit ihrem späte 80er/frühe 90er-Jahre-Design sehr hochwertig und robust. Die unnötige Umverpackung aus Pappe sollte man sich aber aus umwelttechnischen Gründen wirklich sparen. Einige Rezensenten berichteten über das Problem mit auslaufender Sonnencreme. Dieses Problem hatte ich nicht. Evtl. wurde hier schon nachgebessert. Fazit: Top Sonnencreme, wenn auch etwas teuer. Bitte bei der Verpackung nachbessern...weniger ist manchmal mehr.

Ho già provato la protezione 50 di questo marchio, a me sconosciuto fino a pochi giorni fa, e ne ero rimasta piacevolmente colpita, ho voluto testare anche la protezione inferiore e non mi ha delusa, si conferma davvero un ottimo prodotto, con un rapporto qualità/prezzo assolutamente giusto. Potrebbe infatti apparire un pochino costosa rispetto ad altre creme che si trovano nella grande distribuzione, ma ritengo che la qualità sia superiore alla media e che quindi valga il maggior prezzo. PRO: - non contiene sostanze nocive quali parabeni, PEG e microplastiche; - ha una buona consistenza che la rende facilmente spalmabile e di veloce assorbenti; - non unge; - la profumazione è piacevole e discreta, quasi non si sente, non amo i prodotti troppo profumati sulla pelle; - favorisce l'assorbimento della vitamina D, per me importante perché ne sono carente; - resistente all'acqua; - non testata su animali e 100% vegana; - bottiglia in plastica riciclata, confezione in cartone riciclabile; CONTRO: nulla da segnalare. Io uso sempre una crema protettiva per il viso, anche in inverno, ho la pelle molto delicata e facile a macchiarsi, non sopporto vedermi le macchie sul viso, le trovo terribilmente anti estetiche. Uso questa crema come crema da giorno, applicandola la mattina e - se so che devo stare all'aria aperta - anche durante il giorno. E' molto fluida, si spalma e si assorbe in un attimo, è adatta sia a viso che corpo. La pelle rimane morbida, ben idratata e distesa, davvero piacevole la sensazione che lascia. L'attenzione verso l'ambiente è certamente un punto a favore, dobbiamo iniziare a cambiare le nostre abitudini e cercare di ridurre l'impatto che abbiamo sull'ambiente, l'assenza di microplastiche e derivati del petrolio è molto importante, sia per la nostra salute che per quella del nostro pianeta... considerate che buona parte della protezione solare che mettete finisce in mare al primo tuffo! Il prezzo può sembrare alto, al momento di questa recensione è di € 29,00 ma stiamo parlando di un prodotto davvero ottimo. Non l'ho potuta provare sotto il solleone in spiaggia ovviamente, ma la sto usando da una settimana come crema da giorno, e la pelle è sempre morbida, ben idratata, distesa e mai irritata, né dal sole né dalla crema in sè. Secondo me sono soldi ben spesi, per 200ml di prodotto ne vale sicuramente la pena, è davvero superiore a molte altre creme solari provate finora. Scadenza 12 mesi dall'apertura. Consigliata senza riserve, per me 5 stelle.
