Cracker Barrel Sharp Cheddar Macaroni & Cheese Single Bowl Dinner (3.8 Oz Tray)

I don't even like cheese/cheese-flavored things that much and I thought this was DELICIOUS. With other brands of microwave mac n' cheese, I have to mask the taste and texture with additional protien and copious spice. This Cracker Barrel brand mac n' cheese was GREAT prepared only to the instructions. The portion is fine; plenty for a quick main dish. It is a single-serve pack, so be aware if you want to prepare enough for more than one person. The only less-than-desireable aspect of this is that it is a bit salty. Overall I think it's great and I would purchase it again.

First I'll say that I ask Amazon to write SINGLE SERVING in the product description. Please. I got this for my bf and I and when it arrived it said "single serving." It gave us 2 tiny servings as we split it. The flavor is actually pretty good in my opinion. However the company asks you to fill water to water line to cook the noodles. After cooking I would recommend pouring more of the remaining water out of the bowl. It diluted the cheese flavor way too much. It could have been way better. But, alas, I didn't cook it-he did. Maybe it says to do that I haven't looked at the package directions yet. But it's good for a single serving or just to bring to work if they have a microwave. Just remember to drain that water after cooking or the cheese is flavorless. I think , for me, the price point is a little high I would maybe buy it again at 1.89. But not 2.99 at the present price. Circa 8/2022.

Didn't realize it was microwave mac and cheese when I ordered it. Not bad, not great. Mediocre, however it was easy and edible. Will not buy again.

It was alright, I’d prefer like Stoffers over this, didn’t care for the sprinkling of breadcrumbs. Nothing special, maybe for a buck or less. Not for me.

I followed the directions and I actually did this with two of these and they both turned out super weird with way to much water. I gave it a 2 for flavor but it looked so gross I couldn’t even try it. Definitely needs better directions or something.

Would it have been too much trouble to write "fill line" on the bowl for people who have not used it? Not all of us would know how much water would be removed through microwaving. Guess I'll never know how good the product might have been. Won't buy again.
