Midway Arcade Treasures 3 - Gamecube

Nearly two decades ago, I was introduced to a game on the N64 that I absolutely loved. San Francisco Rush 2049 became a favorite of mine. I loved the fact it was basically three games in one. You could do a traditional racing game, there was a stunt game, and you could also battle with up to 3 other friends. I would often turn on the game, play La ley's Uno album (don't ask me why, for some reason I really liked playing listening to that album while playing this game), and ease some stress with some racing or high flying stunts.Somewhere along the line, I misplaced my N64 and Rush game. Not to mention, the controllers were probably all worn out and would be useless now. Lately, I've had the urge to play this game again. I was rather pleased to find Amazon could fulfill my wish.Game came, I pulled it out, and it was just as good as I remembered. I also loved playing the Super Off-road game, one I used to play a ton at the Arcade as a kid. It sure is nice to be able to play it without going through my whole allowance in one afternoon.Some of the comments have stated that this game has some slow load times. That is certainly true, but it isn't so slow to be completely unbearable. Don't let that hold you back if you are interested.I haven't played more than just the two games so far, so I can't comment on any of the others on the disc. I'll get to them eventually.Edit: Found a quirk in the game. If you want to save your progress, you have to hit start and actually "Exit Game" in the program itself. Apparently it doesn't auto save, so if you just turn it off, you'll lose all progress.

Nostalgia is the word to describe this game. Will recommend it to everyone who wants to remember old times. Great copilation.

It got here on the first day of it's target window (thank you very much), and was wrapped in a HEAVY amount of tape. Seriously, it's enough tape to make you start questioning what else they ship. When I did open it, it was in a blank case labeled "Avatar Last Airbender" (kinda confused me), and had a sticky note saying "no disk", which also confused me. But, at least, the stickynote had a cute little sad face doodle. When I finally opened it, it had a thank you card from "FindYourMonkey", which kept me pretty confused. All in all, the people that shipped my product make me curious, but did a bag-up job.

The only game on this that I truly enjoy is Hydro Thunder, a buddy of mine and I used to play this all the time. I can't remember how much money we spent playing it but it was a blast and I really enjoyed getting to relive it.

Rated " Good", but actually. . .No manual.CD has too many scratches and cracks.No stable play of the game and it often stop.

Exactly the game I needed for my husband's birthday!! Game works well, it was just like a new game, manual and everything.
