Kenwood KFC-C6896PS 6 x 8 2-Way Car Audio Speakers

I purchased a different set of Kenwood speakers for roughly the same price for my truck. And they were just meh. I put these in my daughter's 07 mountaineer and now I'm very jealous. These sound awesome. There's plenty of bass and clear sound. I use them to replace both the front and rear door speakers. They fit great. I'm impressed. I recommend.

This made my 2011 Ford F-150 sound way better for less than $50.00. The OEM speakers were not very high end and sounded chintzy. Thank you Kenwood. I am ordering the rears today to get the full sound.

SOUNDS NICE, BUT I HAVEN'T CRANKED THEM UP...

These speakers sound fantastic in my '11 Mercury Grand Marquis. My only issue was with the installation. You remove an adapter bracket from the factory speakers and attach it to the Kenwood speakers, but the 4 original screws going through the new speaker and adapter bracket are too long because the metal frame around the Kenwood speakers is much thinner than the factory speakers. Because of this, I was forced to tighten the 4 screws all the way so the Kenwood speakers were tight with the adapter bracket. Then, the other 4 screws which actually connect the speaker to the doors then placed all the pressure on the tips of the first 4 screws that were too long. This hasn't immediately affected the sound quality/caused rattle, but time will tell.

They installed nicely. I used a wire adapter that had the quick connect plug on it for a super easy install in my 2011 Ford Fusion. I had to replace a factory speaker because it was blown and buzzing like crazy. I'm glad I can enjoy music again and not cringe every time the radio is on.

Plugs were different, size did not allow for install. Disappointed because they sounded pretty good.

Sound better than original.
