probably the best saw I've ever used
This is one of the few times where a 5-star rating is justified. The saw is incredible, probably the best saw I've ever used. However, I can't give it a 5-star rating because of the packaging. When I got the saw in the mail, the blade was completely bent at a 30 degree angle. I needed it for a project, and didn't have time to do the whole "return and wait" dance, so I attempted to bend it back myself. It's still not perfect.I contacted the seller about it but have not heard anything (this was a couple months ago at the time of this writing). At some point I will have to buy a replacement blade I'm guessing, but was hoping the company could send me one for the terrible packaging effort (zero support). But again, if you're in the market for a good hand saw to cut joinery, this one comes highly recommended.

New favorite saw!!
This is my new favorite saw. I've always used Western style push saws. This is my first Japanese pull saw. I purchased it as a recommendation from my favorite wood worker: Jonathan Katz Moses. I've been using this saw consistently for over 3 months now; cutting hard and soft woods, dovetails and shallow tenons and it still cuts as well as it did out of the package. The depth isn’t deep but there are Inexpensive replacement blades that have a deeper cutting depth.

Loving the additional depth of cut with this saw for dovetails
Decided to buy this saw as I already own a dovetail Japanese saw; however, the blade on this one is wider thus allowing me to use a magnetic dovetail jig and cut deeper dovetails. Super accurate, well built as well! Blade is 2 5/8” deep at the tip of the saw. Spine is plenty rigid to get a good kerf, although this doesn’t seem to be an issue with most dovetail saws. See pics. Other saw is a Suizan 9 1/2” dovetail saw.

Good saw, but buy a blade with it...
This is a good saw. I use it for dovetails. I've put it to good use, and I can tell it's dulling. I'd buy a new blade with your purchase.

Highly recommend giving this fine work / dovetail saw a try
First time using a Japanese saw, and so far I love it. I grew up on western/european saws and its a different technique so it gets some taking use to. Search how to use Japanese saws on the internet and they will show you how. The thinness of the kerf it superb, so its great for dovetails. Already purchased another Japanese saw and probably will stick with them. For the price, its worth checking out and its a massive upgrade from the big box store saws.

It's everything they say
People said I would prefer Noko Giri to Bad Axe but I wouldn't believe it until my dovetails proved that superior control and a microscopic kerf give better results. I LOVE my Bad Axe, and it cost 6 times the price of the Dozuki but it sits on the wall while the Razor Saw is handy at the bench. Now let me brag about my tenons........

... dovetails but this saw has made my cuts 100x's better! Nice to hold and easy to cut
I'm still learning to cut dovetails but this saw has made my cuts 100x's better! Nice to hold and easy to cut. The finish cut is beautiful and smooth. Dont go cheap with a dovetail saw you'll find yourself aggravated and looking for a new saw or quiting. My only drawback now is sharp chisels! These cuts are so thin you wont get a coping saw in there to cut out the waste. This saw with a good sharp set of chisels is the way to go.

A delight to use!
This is a different experience from a western ‘push’ saw as the cut is made on the ‘pull stroke’, but this doesn’t take much getting used to, especially if you are familiar with the lightweight gardening pruning saws. The teeth on this particular saw are extremely fine yet incredibly efficient, and because of the ‘draw cut’ nature of the saw, the blare is very thin, making it extremely efficient at fine cutting. The saw itself is well made and very light and an absolute delight to use. Although the handle set-up is very different to western style saws it is surprisingly ergonomic. I have been using it for cutting joints, half-laps, dovetail half-laps, tenons, and this Gyokuchu Dozuki Razor saw is an absolute joy to use! Quick and precise.

真っ直ぐ切れます
導付き鋸は手動で直線を切るのに必要です。かなり正確に切れます。中々他で売って無いので通常のと幅広と両方購入しました。満足してます。
