You can..but it will leave a mark where it was applied.

making lace embroidery bells. they are in six sections and need to be glued together. will this glue work or do I need somehting different?

It certainly worked for my application, glueing two pieces of cloth together. I will tell you to apply lightly too much and excess will stain. Hope that helps.

Does it stick to glass

Do you mean does it stick glass objects to fabric? Yes it does you just ha e to make sure you set the object in a glob of the glue.... meaning when you place the object on the fabric and push down, glue should come up around the edges of said object if this does not happen the when the glue dries there will be no seal around said object and when the material folds or bends the object could just peel right off.
