Radiantz LED Tail Light for Honda Shadow-Valkyrie-VTX

Just installed this - it is NOT Dept of Transportation Approved. When I read this in the included instructions I was shocked - yeah I hate Fed regs too but c'mon man. This isn't a joke as we only have one brake light. Otherwise it is very easy to install.When installed, the LED's face tilted up at the same angle of the lens. Note that the incandescent bulb has a reflector that points almost level to the rear - this is NOT the case with this LED module installed. YES - this is very BRIGHT regardless...BUT it would be much better if they would have designed the PCB to have the "old generation" LED's to be at a slight angle so they can do their work properly and more effectively. On that note - these are not "Luxeon" or "SMD" type LED emitters found on modern day devices. They are utilizing tried and true old school LED emitters that are not as bright as the latter. Hence the dense arrangement of them. I was bumped out as I thought these were the brighter SMD LED's (that have a better field of transmission) but as other reviews have vehemently noted, this is way brighter than the stock setup. I will update this review and star scoring as I try this out. One star if I get blasted from behind. Four stars if it lasts this summer.

I have had one of these for the better part of 15 years. I had it on my 750 ACE then put it on my Valkyrie Tourer. I just bought another one for upgraded brake lights on my Valkyrie Interstate. Little pricey but worth every penny.

Bright but does require a minor modification of the stock tail light. Fits and function very well.

Purchased for my 2014 Honda Shadow Aero VT750RS, I didn't have to bend it or modify it in any way to fit into the chrome light base. It is extremely bright and worth the money for being seen from behind, this is a genuine plug and play item. first 2 pics are original are of OEM bulb, running and brake light, 2nd two pics are LED brake light and running light.

Second one I've bought for my honda cruisers, I'll buy another.

Works well but the instructions say to remove a metal part inside the tail light, I have a VTX and there was nothing to remove. I just set the Radiantz inside the light and placed the cover and tightened the screws. It doesn;t move, all is well.

One of the best ways to light up your tail on a bike. It is HYPER bright. It will definitely get someone's attention when used with my brake light modulator. When installing check to see if you can bend the metal tab at the top of your reflector down instead of breaking it off to give a better surface to stick the double sided tape to.

Very good product. Easy to install. Just remove the taillight lense, remove the bulb, plug the pigtail until the bulb socket, install the supplied double sided tape, push the led assembly in and install the lense. Light is brighter than the stock bulb. I' ve the Radiantz on my bike for about 1 1/2 years with no problems.
