Nostalgic edition of this chess-like game
I love thé new box layout and the anniversary copy of the original rule ‘book’. As for the game itself, if you haven’t played it yet, best get on with it! Longer you leave it the more upset you’ll be that you didn’t start playing it sooner!! A seriously good strategy game for two players

Memory of yourht revitalised
I used to play L'Attaque as a boy wit friends. Grea5t game of strategy and memory. That was a long time ago, since when specks of mould on the cards and rust on the original stands rendered the original set unuseable for serious play. So seeing the commemorative issue and picking up the last set or so, was fantastic! If it had not been on Amazon, I would have missed the opportunity.

Great two player game, which is fun to play and continued play teaches strategy and planning. Played the original game as child, now my grandchildren are playing!

Collector's item
After the horror of the First World War what every family needed was a fun board game that could help them make war fun again. L'Attaque, the simple but beautifully designed game of strategy with a dash of poker face was the elegant answer to that problem. It's a game you won't want to take out of its box -because it has collector's item written all over it- but if you do you'll actually be richly rewarded with a strangely addictive game that eats up lunch times and makes life easier when your WiFi is down. I think it's high time we started getting back into old pastimes and this is a great place to start.
