Perfect fit!
This was exactly what I needed and the process to replace it was very easy. The hardest part was getting the spring off of the gasket. Mine was on very tight and it was hard to grasp it. I finally managed to get a grip on it using a pair of needle nose pliers without grabbing or tearing the rubber gasket. Hubby came home as I was putting it all back together and he took over and replaced the spring for me. Worked like a charm and I’m back in business.

So far, so good
Purchased this part because our clothes were coming out of our Frigidaire washer too wet. We observed the machine wasn't going into the high spin at the end of a wash. The diagnostics gave an error of E47, which related to this door mechanism. Its a relatively easy job to install this new piece. All of the tolerances match up for the door strike size and things like the hole size in the washing machine. I would say - the 'latching' feel - the sound the strike makes, how it feels when I close the door - doesn't feel as snug as the original. However - the issue is fixed. The washer does go into the high spin. I haven't noticed any leaks in the water, so the latching appears to be working. I haven't noticed a smell - like is noted in other reviews for this product. So for now....everything appears to be working and the issue is resolved. Hopeful the part lasts for a notable time into the future.

Resolved E47 code on Frigidaire ATF6000ES1
Discovered that at the end of a wash cycle all the clothes were still soaking wet. Tried just the "Spin" cycle and the pump worked fine but the drum wouldn't spin at all. After much troubleshooting, I could kick myself for not just trying the method to see the current error code on the front panel. Did this and got E47 - "Board thinks the door PTC circuit is open in spin". Did test the resistance of the solenoid/"wax motor" and meter showed "OL" or basically no reading. This part was considerably less expensive than dedicated "parts websites" for appliances and I question the quality, but it also would arrive in less than 24 hours with Prime and I had laundry to do. Other websites would have taken a week to ship for another $10-$15! Part arrived and looked identical except that the solenoid was a red-ish color instead of black like the original. Strangely, the new one tested "OL" on the multimeter as well. However, after installing and a load of laundry the spin cycle now works without issue.Did notice that if you're face is within 6-8" of the door lock when you're removing laundry you may smell something like a Sharpie marker, which is coming from the new door lock. Not overwhelming and doesn't smell like burnt electrical, so I assume this is a byproduct of that new solenoid heating up to expand the wax and the lock plunger. Will keep an eye on it...Also, this new lock takes WAAAY longer to release the lock and allow the door to be opened after the laundry is done. Like 20-30 seconds. Old lock was pretty much instant. :/ Oh well.

Easy to replace.
Issue: Spin cycle not working and clothes were still soaking wet. Looked online for known issues and it stated this part was the cause 53% of time. Ordered the part and replaced it and watch the videos to correct disconnect each plug and plug in the new part one plug at a time to make it easy and you won’t forget. Took the old part out and noticed the last plug was the culprit. Please see pics of new and old part. I ran a test cycle and worked like normal. Only thing I would add is since you are working on this part go ahead and replace the belt at the same time since you have it unplugged and away from the wall. Good price on part and quick shipping. I was down for only 3 days and it took under an hour to move washer, replace part and move washer back to position.

latch worked perfectly, easy to install
worked fine. was easy to install, once i realized that you have to peel the door gasket off, not push it. it goes around a rim. once diagnosed, it took 15 minutes to replace the door latch. quality looks good. washer works fine now.

Packaging in rough shape on arrival, part operation erratic
The parts are super easy to replace (under 5 minutes), and initially seemed to work just fine, but after running have a dozen cycles through the machine, this door latch assembly has developed a load buzzing and erratic latching action of the washer door. The parts came in a plastic bag Amazon mailer and the inner bag was thoroughly perforated by rough handling, so this may represent damage to the part - hard to know.I was not in a position to return the uninstalled part as the washer was not functioning properly and this replacement part is better then nothing at all

Fantastic !!!
I found that this was the easiest part ever to install !!! I put my big girl britches on and with only a screw driver and needle nose pliers (for the door spring), I installed it !!! My washer is back to perfect now !!! The part was delivered very quickly as promised. The price was great as well. It took less than 10 minutes from start to finish !!! What a fun experience and a real confidence booster !!! Thank you !!!
