This thing works!
I was a little dubious, based on some of the reviews here, but I went ahead and pulled the trigger on this, and I am not disappointed! I was able to turn up about a 1/4 acre plot in around an hour, only half of which had ever been cultivated. I got a good 4 to 6 inches of penetration, which is fine for my purposes. I might try to take a little deeper next season, but I'm happy for now. This is well made, went together very easily and I had none of the issues with bearings noted in some other reviews. The trick is to take your time, make multiple passes and drop it a notch at a time until you get the depth you're looking for. I spent about an hour removing sticks and rocks from the plot beforehand, which also helped a lot. You also want to make sure you have a SOLID 2" receiver or adapter. Don't try to use an automotive one that sticks straight out as it will only give more leverage to damage your frame. I used the KFI Products 101385 2in. Rear Receiver, and this worked out perfectly. If you have a solid receiver and take your time, this thing is excellent for what it is. Beats fighting a tiller or renting a tractor, and this will last multiple seasons for me, and probably a couple of hunting buddies. Buy with confidence.

Clogs up far too easy
Works well on dry soil but add a bit of moisture or other small amounts of earthy matter and it clogs up.

Don't expect too much
Well built piece. Works best when you burndown with roundup, throw a match to it 2 weeks later, and then start working the ground. Not going to work the ground deep but will give you some loose soil to broadcast into. Tip: Don't set the gangs too close because you will ball up in dead vegetation or moist soil. Overall it will get the job done.

Excellent Tool
When I first viewed this thing online, I literally could see the 2" hitch receiver on my Ford Ranger out the window. "Hey, this could work". I've prepped 2 food plots so far and it's pretty easy. You need to make or buy a set of ramps to back up on. They made the vertical section of this tool offset, which allows a lot of adjustment. Good thinking. No problem getting enough to make it bite down on my stock 4WD. Being able to back up makes the tool pretty effective. Common sense applies though. If you are backing up and feel resistance, get out and check. Mow or remove weeds before starting. It will chop up a lot, but it takes more "rounds" to accomplish. Choose a seed that remains near the surface. Remove tool and pack down with Tires. Broadcast seed. Drive around on it some more for good seed/soil contact. Pray for rain. I think I saw a tear in the Farmer's eye when he saw what this thing will do in an hour. Ya can't get the Wife to put it on for you while you sit in the A/C though. It's heavy.

DO NOT BUY!!!! BEWARE
This is the worst product I have every purchased, hands down. First, 2 of the 3 discs on each assembly did not spin whatsoever. We had to take them apart and wire brush where the disc was sitting just to get minimal rotation. Second, and this is very important. The force and downward pressure completely destroyed my hitch receiver, even at the highest setting. I was skeptical about the design, from the outset. However, I thought the videos were legit. If you logically think about it...the hitch receiver is designed to pull. The force and kinetic energy driving straight down is far too great to sustain. I have a brand new 2020 Polaris Ranger and it cracked right off. Even if yours worked, constant use is absolutely going to weaken it. This is a terrible product with a flawed design and will cost you money down the road. Adding to this...brought my Ranger in for repair. Dealer said flat out these discs are garbage and destroy the receiver and unless you are plowing sand, they are totally worthless and will cause damage. I learned the hard way. DO NOT BELIEVE THE VIDEOS. This will destroy and damage your machine

AWESOME piece of equipment
I put in a 60ft x 60ft garden in my alfalfa field. This thing worked wonders. I used this first then I used an 18 inch sod buster, then switched back to this. It done a Fantastic job. I have large disk and several tractors but I didnt want to have to use the big equipment on such a small project so I got this and a sod buster and I'm happy I did! I will use it again this fall to put in food plots to hunt over. Simple to use. I backed up on my car ramps and put it on. Simple and easy! Only one thing I kept running into was the nuts holding the disk on had to be tightened after using for awhile but NP for such an easy to use piece of equipment. Get one! You wont regret it!

I love this thing
This item works really well at tearing up the ground. We had a field full of weeds, we tore it up and now grass is growing in. It does take a lot of passes to till an area as th unit is relatively small but the weight of our UTV makes it easy to do the job. It is heavy to lift onto the hitch but other than that it is great. Love this.
