I ordered this for my brother for a present, since he's a bit of a jerky/meat stick connoisseur. I did read all the comments of other reviewers, but I also noted in the questions section the supplier replied to concerns about the presence of beef in the sticks saying that most is minimal, and all is required to meet USDA standards. And YES, it IS mentioned on the packaging, so its not being fair to the company to say they're trying to pull a fast one. So I went ahead and bought the meats.My brother was very happy to get them, and had fun going through the selections available and noting some of the more exotic flavors. There were even some he hasn't had yet in all his years of loving jerky (like the maple duck and kangaroo), so he was excited to try them. So far, he's had the spicy buffalo and the elk and says that they are just delicious; the elk he says is one of the best meat sticks he's ever had. He can taste the differences in them, although he cannot guarantee that it will be the case with all of them since he plans to savor these and make them last awhile and therefore cannot compare the first to the latter.Something he did note, is that he finds these sticks to be of good quality. Not a greasy texture or taste, and a high meat-to-fat content (at least in what he's had so far). So even if he doesn't end up being able to tell all of them apart in taste, they all still taste amazing to him and are worth it for that. So I'd recommend this set to anyone looking for an exotic bite, or just wanting good quality meat sticks.

I got this as a gift for my son and he loved it. Good variety of meats - Elk, Ostrich, Venison, etc.. and flavors. They were the only supplier to ship outside of the holidays, which I appreciated. The product was fresh, tasty and delivered on time.

Usually with the "exotic" meats you sometimes get flavors that don't taste the best. Not this kind. I enjoy every one as the meats are all mixed with beef so while they do have different tastes they still have a beef jerky taste to them. I've ate more than I care to admit and people I have purchased for also have liked all the flavors.

I purchased these for my kids to try out with the hopes that my keto/carnivore hubby could try them as well. However, only three sticks had no sugar/brown sugar. My kids loved them though.

Please Read this whole review before deciding to purchase:For one thing these are not a true jerky. They taste a lot like slim jims. I mean they taste better as in they have more flavor but they still have that slim jim taste. They are somewhat greasy as well and very moist. That is to say this is not true jerky at all. But just a mechanically separated meat product (seems very processed based on taste and texture). Another issue is that you have no idea what the nutritional value is on these things. There isnt any place on the packaging that lets you know how much fat and protein are in these things. Lastly I want to say that the other meats seem kind of gimmicky since really you only ever taste beef in these things. I would recommend going with jerky meats in their pure form ie. pure beef, pure venison, pure gator, etc. These arent bad if you like those slim jim type things you get at the WaWa check out or whatever. In that regard these are by far the best tasting of those I have ever had. But they arent what I personally like or look for when it comes to "jerky". Lastly and most importantly these contain *NITRITES* which are cancerous and that is why other companies have moved away from them.

He was a little skeptical at first, questioning why I would buy him jerky for Christmas. But, the man loves them!!! He just ran out because he paced himself. As a frequent jerky eater, he was in heaven with these! We'll definitely be buying them again.
