My go to brush fo doing exterior painting. It holds a good amount of paint and cuts clean. Cleanup is easy and the bristles retain their shape without shedding much. Handle is easy to grasp and doesn’t mind being put to good use.

I am a professional painter and for quite some time we were using the purdy brushes available at sherwin. I always had issues with them (amount of paint they hold, lack of stiffness for cutting lines, the way the outer bristles curl after a couple weeks and send stray whirls of paint all over the place) so we went about trying out a few others and once we landed on the silver tips we haven't bought another brush other than these since. They hold three times the paint of the purdy contractor brushes and, as a result, from time to time they will drip, but that is honestly the only downside once these get broken in. They cut the cleanest lines out of any brush I've ever used (probably at least half of whats currently on the market) and the firmness is helpful when doing custom work where perfect lines are necessary. As for how they hold up over time... We paint anywhere from 2-4 apartments a day 6-7 days a week and, using a brush per man, they hold up for 3-4 months with proper cleaning with a stiff brush and soap. They only lose their shape when the cover gets destroyed, but even then they are an incredibly effective brush. Around the 3 month mark the brush starts to kind of bell out at the tip as the bristles lose their coating, which makes cutting perfect lines a little harder in cramped spaces, but they still work up to 5 months or so for the normal cuts around switchplates, in corners, ceiling lines, etc. Even then, you more than got your money's worth as the average $10 purdy will break down long before that. My advice... Buy one, try it and I bet 9/10 will never use another brush.

This Wooster angled sash brush is a great value for the quality. It’s made cutting in really easy, especially along trim and ceilings, and it holds paint well without dripping or constant reloading. The bristles are flexible but still give you good control, and overall it feels like a much more expensive brush than it is. The one minor issue I’ve noticed is that an occasional bristle may come loose during use—but it’s pretty rare and not a dealbreaker at all. If you're doing any painting around the house, this is an excellent budget-friendly brush that delivers professional-looking results. I’ll definitely be keeping a few of these on hand.

These are the longest lasting and most easy to clean brushes I have come across. The bristles are firm and not too thin, perfect for creating clean lines while holding a good amount of paint. Great for ceiling cuts and cutting in around trim and objects. I've even purchased them as gifts for my fellow workers. My oldest ones have been used a few times a week for at least 7 months and still perform just as well as when they were new. With proper care, these brushes will save any professional a lot of money. Not only is the price amazing, they have outlasted most of my other favorite brushes. I don't recall a time I needed my wire brush to clean these. I haven't seen these in either of my local home improvement superstores. For this price, order one in every size. Heck, order two! Well, what are you waiting for? :-) Wooster + Amazon = Win win win! This is the best paint brush I have ever purchased. It holds paint well and perfect for edging contour lines. Well worth the investment.
