Best Circular Saw I've Ever Owned
Makita tools are top quality and this saw is no different. I use it with a 60 tooth cross cut blade to cut wide table top ends. It makes clean and accurate cuts through any hardwood. Love the soft start so the initial motor torque doesn't make the saw twist in your hands and mess up a cut. Highly recommend.

So good my parents used it once and I haven't seen it since.
Bought this for a project because tired of the battery operated ones struggling and it works so well.

Strong saw
This saw is to replace a previous model that I had for forty years, or there about, It was just as good the last year I used it as the first. Unfortunately, my neighbor liked it to much to return it. I have used this one to cut 2X8's and 2X10's treated and non treated, found that it is even stronger than the older model, not sure that is always a good thing, it's so strong that kick back could be a issue. So far I love it and it's capabilities as a resourceful tool.

Awesome Saw
In the early 80's I bought a cheap Craftsman saw as I am not a professional. I used the saw quite a bit over the years but was never hard on it. Well this year I started building a chicken coop and the old saw finally gave out. I decided this time I was going to get a good saw. Wow! what a difference the Makita 5007NK has made in my work. Not only is it a joy to use and feels wonderful in my hand but I would swear it improved my eyesight as my cuts are much straighter now. Don't skimp, if you are looking at a new saw don't pay a few dollars less and get a cheaper saw. The memory of the little more you will pay for this fine saw will fade long before the joy of using this great tool will be forgotten. I also have a Makita drill and impact driver set and look forward to obtaining more wonderful Makita tools as I can afford them.

Makita saw
Told my friend about it and recommended to him over another brand that’s popular and he loved it. It’s a work horse of a saw.

If you can't afford it yet, save your money until you can.
I'm a tool guy, what can I say. One really great You Tube channel is The Honest Carpenter. He swears by these Makita Circular saws, so I thought I would give one a try. I already have a Skilsaw, Ryobi, and a Porter Cable which all work fine. This circular saw is in a class by itself. It is incredibly well built to last for decades, and all the indicators are very accurate. I use a nice Diablo blade on it (60 tooth) to break down large MDF and plywood panels (with a hand made circular saw guide), and the cuts are incredibly clean and accurate. The cuts are so clean, you would swear they were done on a very expensive table saw.I am glad I own the other saws, because if anyone wants to borrow one, they can have at it, but my Makita is never leaving my sight.
