2020 Double Din Car Stereo,Android Radio with Bluetooth 5.0, Eonon 7 Inch Android 9.0 Car Radio Android Head Unit Car Stereo Support Android Auto//Fast Boot//Apple Carplay(NO DVD/CD)-GA2176

After 2 months, the unit had a complete sound failure. Working with seller Support, they quickly sent me a new motherboard at their expense. I replaced it which fixed the problem. If you like getting your "hands dirty" then I recommend this unit. You get a lot of capability that a standard head unit just cannot compete with. You can add apps and really customize what this thing can do for you.I use it primarily for radio (works well if you ensure you power your antenna -- assuming you have an amplified antenna like my car), bluetooth audio from my phone, hands-free phone, and Google Maps. Initially, the Maps were VERY slow when I first installed. After updating the firmware AND replacing the motherboard (failed sound), the unit boots 100 times faster AND maps work much better.Overall, a good to excellent experience if you like tinkering with both hardware AND software. Install requires some electronic technical skills. Good tech support.I got into the "Factory" settings to customize the unit to work with my car better. Need the password which can be found easily using an internet search.Again, for ~$230 and about "$100 to $200" of your skilled labor, a good buy.I am now quite happy with it. Long term, I'm hoping the electronics do not crap out like the first two months. We will see.

Mistakenly purchased the unit from Eonon direct to save $30. Should have done it through Amazon. Eonon does not accept open box units and I am sure they will not accept any returns.The issues I have is my retractable antenna will not retract when the radio is OFF or in stand by mode (other units do this). The second one, the unit will not fit in a Metra installation kit. It is 5mm [3/16+inches] too wide! If you decide to enlarge the opening, then Metra's mounts will not work. Bottom line, it is a mess.No one will answer the phones listed on the webpage, but they will text you back for an email address, and this is the last you hear from them.I gave it 3 stars because I believe the unit will work good. Too bad I can not use it and that pi...s me off. Not a good company to deal with. I see there are other outlets offering the same unit, so be cautious. When you are purchasing a unit, make sure the opening in your car is 178mm [7.01 inches]. Metra's kit is 175mm, made for the US and Europen units

I like this car stereo, it has decent sound and looks and responds good. I have two issues with it so far. First they imply that it supports Micro SD, but it doesn't have a slot for it. You have to use an USB card reader connected to one of it's USB ports. Okay I just used an USB flash drive. Next is the Bluetooth 5.0, almost worthless. It does connect to my Samsung Note 8, so that's good. It doesn't recognizes anything else I have tried. I have tried two different OBDII devices and it doesn't see either. I have also tried two different Bluetooth keyboards and it doesn't see them either. I have contacted support but they are having an Chinese festival right now, so they are busy partying.I will update this review if they help me resolve this.My other issue with this unit is the radio reception is terrible.

I installed th ga2176 in a 2001 vw passat. That being said, it is a little large for the opening, to use the install adapter/ faceplate. I will fab a panel to cover the opening around the head unit. As for radio operation, it's a little slow to load Google maps, bit it does work well. I use the hotspot on my phone. I don't really care for the screen mirroring. And the time won't stay correct. If you have a vw Passat, you don't need an adapter for the wiring, just the antenna. Other than that, I'm happy with it. Works great.

First one worked for about 30 min, but Amazon stepped up and sent a replacement. Tech support is on Hong Kong time - it was days before they got back to me. So far, second one is working like a champ. I didn't care for the stock interface, so I loaded in a new launcher from the play store. Right now my only issue is that the stock radio app plays at one volume and the couple of mp³ players I've tried so far play at a much lower volume. Have to turn the volume way up for the mp3s and then get blasted when switching to the radio. Have to keep looking for a solution. Been working on integrating a backup camera, OBDII, and after market steering wheel controls. Definitely a big improvement in my 03 ranger. Like others have said, it's not standard double DIN - so modifications were necessary but I'm happy with the results.

I'm happy with this radio so far. It powered right up and all the features seem to work. I was able to connect it to the internet through the phones Hotspot and use Google navigation, access Play Store, YouTube etc...The Bluetooth works well. It connected easily and lets you skip through tracks from the screen but you can't fast forward or reverse through a track. The range is very short. It works great from inside the vehicle but disconnects if you walk more than a few feet away. Not a problem unless you want to control it from a distance.This came with zero wiring instructions and none are available on their website. It's relatively straight forward if you know how to do this type of work but some wiring instructions would be helpful.

Took a 6k mile road trip as soon as I installed it, like how simple and fast it is. Everything works but every once in a while sound dissapears, requires pause and play. Overall great value.

So far so good. Installed in a 2011 Lincoln Navigator using the RP4-FD11 adapter and everything is working as it should. THX audio system, steering wheel controls, backup camera, etc.The screen mirroring software isn't the best but is decent. You will probably want to just use the apps on the head unit and your phone as a hot spot for most scenarios.The head unit is plenty fast with good resolution, response and boot times. As others mentioned the radio volume starts very high, but I've noticed that is the case with a lot of these "off-brand" aftermarket head units.

I purchased this unit as it clearly says in the advert Apple CarPlay, when I received I checked the instructions and there was nothing about Apple CarPlay, I then read previous reviews (should have read before purchasing 😡) and other people also found out after it had no Apple CarPlay.I got in touch with them and I must admit their customer service was excellent and fixed my issue, the stereo is well packed and good quality.
