The shipper delivered it in a box with a hole. Not the seller's fault. It didn't have any real damage. It works fine. You have to freeze small plastic boxes in your freezer & cover them with water. So you would have to replace the boxes on a hot day after a few hours. Better for the environment than using freon. You can hear water running. Ok with me but I don't know about other people. It is good for a small room like I have. It is a nice looking ac unit. Has wheels. Good to have if your central air breaks down. The price was reasonable.

Having previously bought a swamp cooler for my house in Colorado, I find this unit pretty good, despite the kinda sketchy-looking listing from a weird seller who tends to sell unrelated stuff.As others have mentioned, not all the slats are open, but I've been surprised with how effective it is. Where I'm at, these things (no matter who makes them) stop working around 90 degrees F. Swamp coolers just get overpowered when it's too hot. That being said, this unit is super easy to fill, and it blows pretty hard. The ease of filling makes it better than my other unit, which swivels, but is not mobile, and you have to remove the basin to fill it.Just about worth the money, especially if the heat in your area tops out around the mid / high 80s. Above that, just get a portable AC unit, I got one from Home Depot for about 350, and it's a pain to install, but will help you in extreme temps WAY more.

I was very surprised by how good this little thing works . As long as you add ice and cold water along with their provided ice packs it will keep your bedroom cool for hours . I live in Arizona and this has been one of our hottest summers on record and this thing has worked beautifully. It is definitely worth the money .

My bedroom gets that late afternoon evening sun streaming in my window so my room gets very hot. I’ve had other portable air conditioners, and they always seem either loud or too big or both. This one was smaller and quiet. I can sleep at night with it on and it does not wake me. It works nice as a fan, but the air conditioner is awesome. Fill it with water, add two of the bottles, previously frozen, and extra ice if it’s extremely hot and you’ll be cool and comfortable all day and all night. It’s easy to use and doesn’t require any assembly. Just plug it in, fill it up, and you’re good to go. I highly recommend this air conditioner. You won’t be disappointed.

For a very small cooler to do a very small space it does it's job. One person said it did their 250 sq. ft. space very well. For me, it's more like 150 sq. ft. I've had several portable coolers and so was not expecting AC. I was expecting more for the price as I have paid less and gotten far more. I like that it uses very little water and with ice on top and in the bottom it pushes out quite cold air for a short while. The ice packs which come with it, as others have said, split within the first few days of using them. I was careful not to fill past the line. If it had been an 89.00 to 129.00 cooler, and I only needed it to do about 150 sq. ft., I would say good value for the price. The day I purchased it, it was 199.00. One day later same seller was offering it for 189.00 and it has since gone down a bit again. Still too much for what it is. I am disappointed in this unit, primarily because it's too small for what I need and too expensive for what it is.

I got this with some doubt. During a 95+ degree day I followed the instructions. Added water and the special ice containers for the water drawer. It did not lower the temp in the room, but made it feel very comfortable. Well worth the low price

This unit definitely service it’s purpose! And I often have to turn it off because I get too cold. What I will say is that if you’re looking for an actual air conditioner, this is not quite going to be that but it has helped to keep me cool this summer thus far also, the remote is a very nice touch when you don’t want get up in the middle of the night to turn it off.

I’m sure the product works well in a air conditioned environment I could get the cold air out but wasn’t enough for the only source of cold air
