Easy to Install, Looks Professional.
This arrived faster than expected (pre-COVID) and fits my 2006 Pilot perfectly! It was easy to install, though I want to weld it on the bolts (recommended by Honda and in general just for safety), so I will need help with that but it went on fast and easily with a torque wrench at a “self-help” car center (military base). It may have been easier because they have a lift and air compressor tools, but I imagine with an extra hand, ratchet mechanics wrench and drive on lifts, it would still go easily. It is nice and thick metal, clean looking, and sturdy. I paired it with a pigtail purchased in Amazon Garage since my SUV didn’t have one.

Such an easy hitch receiver to install!
This was such an easy install. Three bolts to remove the tail hitch, and then you have to install this with 6 bolts, 3 on each side. The instructions said you have to drop the exhaust, but I think that's out of an abundance of caution because I didn't have to.This was also SUBSTANTIALLY cheaper than anyplace else I've looked. Even places with hitch receivers in my town wanted double this price...with an install labor/price of 150-200$!!! This is easy, and cheap.CONS: Some of the finished coating had rubbed off en route, and it appears that's a common thing in the reviews. Touch it up, or leave it go...easy.

Works like it should.
Im happy with it. It was pretty easy to install. Heads up. The existing factory bolts are probably the ones you will want to use. They are tapered on the end. The ones that are sent with the unit are a pain to get started. Also, make sure you WD-40 the crap out of the factory bolts. Let them sit for about 30 min before you try to remove them. I used a hydraulic wrench.

Works great with my MDX
Not to hard to install. Did it by myself, but would certainly be a lot easier with two people. Definitely use a wire brush to clean out the tack welded nuts inside your box frame before installation. I failed to do that and one of the nuts broke off inside the frame. That's a lot harder to recover from than cleaning out the threads in the first place!

Stout hitch
Well built. Bought for a2005 Honda Pilot. Propped up the hitch on the driver side with a 5 gallon bucket and got bolts started. Used same bucket on passenger side and put in remaining bolts. Had to remove the tow hook, did not touch anything on the muffler side.Frame holes were rusty so I needed a12mm by 1.25 mm tap to clean them. $9 on Amazon. Not a common size. You won't find it in the tap and die kits. Tried using a thread chaser at first but it wasn't tapered enough to get a clean start in the rust and tried to cross thread or just not start at all. This hitch is very solid. Even though it lacks mounting holes at the middle of the frame there is no need for them. Very pleased with it.

this fit perfect. Install was easy
I've got a 2008 Honda Pilot Front wheel drive. this fit perfect. Install was easy. There was a tow loop on one side. I removed it. I used 3 jack stands to hold it in place while I installed the bolts. I put a drop of thread lock on the bolts. then I torqued the bolts to the recommended spec. I DID NOT have to move the exhaust. I DID have to lower the spare tire though. Once I got it installed, I raised the spare back up.

Easy installation
Shipping was quick, but the packaging was....interesting. It was delivered by UPS, and it was wrapped with cardboard on about half of the unit. Luckily, UPS seemed to take reasonable care delivering it, and it came in without damage. It fits a first generation Acura MDX without problem. Installation took less than 30 minutes, and was pretty easy. Can be done on the garage floor. An extra person to help lift/manuver the receiver hitch during installation would be helpful, as the thing is heavy and awkward to manipulate during the installation.Overall, this is a simple DIY that can save a couple hundred buck over having a hitch professionally installed.

Fits Perfectly. Great Price & company to Order from. Delivered very quickly- nice Bonus!
Hitch installed quickly. I was concerned the bolt holes would not line up, but they did !Attachment took longer , Not because of the HITCH, but the rust holes on right side of Car frame.Very solid, will last a long time. I probably will spray Rust-Check over Hitch to reduce any chance of rust over time.Thank you !

Perfect fit, easy install
Hitch for my 2008 Honda Pilot fit perfect. I didn’t even have to drop my exhaust to get it into place. I did tap the mounting holes to clear out the undercoating, but I’m sure if you were patient enough you could work the bolts through without tapping.

Fit 2003 Honda Pilot easily, lowered spare tire but did not move exhaust pipe.
Am using it for a bike rack/cargo tray. Had a friend help put in place, would be a lot harder but do-able with only one person. There was a mix up with the shipping but they were great about it and expedited delivery.Very satisfied.
