ZAP! Take that, Mozzie!
I bought this hoping that it would help to prevent my baby being bitten whilst on holiday in Spain. We're currently over halfway through the holiday and none of my family has been bitten once so far. We've had the lamp on the floor whilst out on the balcony and then on a bedside table whilst sleeping.I thought maybe we're just in a mozzie-free area but I've just checked and I can see a few dead ones stuck inside the lamp so it looks like they've headed straight to the lamp rather than any of us. Great! So the main thing is, it works. Also, it's a handy little camping lantern, with three brightness settings. As with most LED camping lamps the light hue is cool white so not really a romantic mood light but it doesn't claim to be.It stands on its base with the light on top or can be hung from its retractable hook with the light pointing down.Lightweight, looks good, well made, reasonably small, easy to charge (micro USB lead supplied), and it even comes with a little brush to sweep away the corpses of the enemy. Well worth the money.Fact fans may like to know that only female mosquitos are l parasitic blood suckers. The males are happy with nectar and plant juices. True.If you found this review useful, please click below, thanks!

Moderate killer of mosquitos
We were camped in a pretty mosquitoey area and it definitely killed some mosquitos and other smaller flies which may have been small mosquitos but don't think so. Wife, who is main mosquito target, was pleased with its effect though I think it was best in limited area such as in the tent; just hanging around campsite I am not sure it did much.Light was good with even lowest level helping quite a bit. Not sure if battery times were as stated but we were surprised that the UV light stopped turning on while we could still get low light to work.So overall not as much of a mosquito killer as hoped but did help and will definitely take on next camping.

Does a excellent job..
I purchased this item last summer 2019 and was so pleased with it I purchased 3 more.We live on a Dutch Barge on a river, so Mosquitoes, gnats and all types of small flying creatures we have in abundance. The lamp can be hung or stand easily anywhere, and do's the job they are designed for extremely well, with the added bonus of a light which has a three stage brightness setting ideal for a tent where a light source is also needed.Charged from a USB cable supplied, which allows you to plug into a adapter in the car is most useful, with good battery life, we can get 3 to 4 nights out of a full charge without using the light. We have tried many solar powered devices but none of them lasted through one night and proved to be Infected. This will not disapoint .Just to add a update/ 4 Years on and they are still doing a excellent job 👍

Great lantern....didn't kill many insects
Easy to charge and the battery lasts for hours. The lantern has 3 settings and a great hook feature. Shame the insect zapper didn't work. Think the insects it did trap died of boredom waiting to be zapped once they were trapped in the cage. Kids were amused though chasing the mosquitoes trying to zap them

It's bright and brilliant!!
At first I was a bit sceptical, and it was half the size I expected, but it exceeded my expectations. even on low light, it was good, the mosquito zapper is quite loud when it zaps an insect, but works brilliantly too. I used it on a camping trip and it lasted a 5 nights without the need to charge at any point, I used it 3-4hrs each night(charged once after receiving purchase). I hooked it to an S-shape hook i bought seperately and hung it in my campervan. I have also used it in my bathroom recently while showering late at night to kill insects while the window was open and in my livingroom too. Glad I bought this now. I might get some more of them as they would work great in sheds/ summerhouses

Does not work as mosquito-killer, but the light is bright
I am plagued with mystery mosquito bites overnight in my room, so bought this with the hopes of catching the culprit. Very disappointed, as I continued to get one or two bites a night, on and off over the course of trialling this product for a week. I have since stopped bothering to use it because it didn't catch anything... unless you count one teeny tiny midge. Hopefully the mozzies / lone mosquito will just die and leave me alone! The frequency of bites has at least reduced in the winter. Maybe this product does work outdoors in places where there are many mozzies, but I haven't tested this.

Great lamp
I am really pleased with this Mosquito killer lamp I bought if to put in my greenhouse because I have been bitten badly this year by Mosquitoes. I put it on at dusk and leave it on all night, I go down in the morning and it always has dead Mosquitoes in it which I then clean out with the brush supplied I then put it on charge for the following night. You can use it anywhere in the house and I am going to try it in the conservatory to kill any flying insects in there. You can just use it as a lamp for camping or you can use it with the killer part of the lamp on as well, Great little product.

Good portable light. That's about it.
Recently my house has decided to become the home to a large squadron of mosquitos and so I've been on a spree to order as much gear as I can to arm myself. And this device is amazing if you want a portable light that's useless at killing mosquitos. We had it up for the best part of 2 weeks and within that timeframe we had between 15-20 mosquitos. Somehow this device managed to kill none of them, but successfully shined a bright light on us throughout the night without being plugged in.This device is probably more suited for outdoor camping and the like, not so much for killing those 1 or 2 mosquitos that keep you up at night in your home.I give this 2 Rick James slaps out of 5, only due to the fact that it functions as an actual portable light.
