WORX Leaf Collection System with a 5" Inches Tube, WA4058

If you have a big job and a long extension cord, this system is great. It is easy to use. It came with various extra pieces, so it should work for as snyone. The bag part that goes atop a trash can has enough maeral for a 32 -39 f gallon can, at least. Yes, there's a little dust from the ground up leaves, but if you let it sit a bit to settle first, there is far less. Connects easily and cleans easily. Good value for the money. Only used it with its brand name leaf vacuum/ blower, but think that the extra pieces that come with it will make it compatible with similar products.

received the upgraded collection system and immediately went out to the yard to clear the leaves. tested the collection system fit and it was solid for my worx blower/vacuum. it was super easy to connect the components of this collection system. blew the leaves into a pile and switched to the vacuum collection system. learned that the bag clip must be attached before the vacuum motor can be switched on. so the adapter was first clipped onto the intake of the vacuum, an upgrade from the first model, that made attaching the tube and mesh cover simple and secure. the mesh cover fit over my 55 gallon bin, I used a bungee cord to securely seal the mesh cover to the trash bin which helped keep the mesh cover attached to the bin. there is dust that escapes the mesh cover, the same dust that escapes the bag that comes with the worx blower/vacuum. it's just now escaping from the top of the trash bin. set yourself upwind whenever using the collection system. the problem I had before purchasing this collection system was the frequent emptying of the bag whenever it filled and having dust, debris and mulched leaves flying all over as I shook the bag to empty it into the trash bin. using the collection system with its tube and mesh cover eliminated the need to empty the bag and as you know that is time consuming and messy with the dust cloud that forms as the bag is emptied. I did not find the length of the tube problematic as I kept the trash bin close at my side while vacuuming leaves. again, the caution is to be upwind when using the vacuum with the bag or collection system. after vacuuming up leaves, the mesh cover is full of dust as well as the tube that leads to the mesh cover. I draped it over an outdoor lawn chair and showered it with water. good as new and ready to be repacked in its shipping box for storage. I would recommend this collection system to anyone looking to move away from emptying the bag. I would also recommend using a bungee cord as additional security to keep the mesh bag attached to the trash bin.

First let me say, I love the item. I live in western NC on almost an acre and have many leaves fall each year. I have the Worx blower/mulcher and have always liked it but the bag does get heavy and fills up quickly making it a chore to continually dump it and start over. This bag and tube makes the work much easier in that placing it over a trash cand (with a bag lining it of course) lets you work longer until the entire can is filled. If the leaves are dry this simply vacuums them seamlessly, mulches them and fills a large quantity in the can. Be aware that the force of the vacuum pushes the bag off of the trash can. It was difficult to tie it on securely. However, I took the trash can lid which I never use and cut a hole in the center of it. After feeding the tube through the hole I clamped the lid on the can over the bag. It's not perfect but seems to work. The bag continues to try to blow off but the lid has held it so far. Again, considering all the options, this has worked best for me. After getting most of this year's leaves removed I hope to be able to keep up on it this winter and get them secured before I have such a large task.

Got this attachment to help reducing the time to empty the Worx shoulder bag on big jobs. We get a lot of leaves and to put them right into a can is great. This fit a 30-gallon trash can and the 90-gallon yard waste tote easily, but you might need clips on the yard waste tote handle end. It fits the Worx WG509 perfectly and seems to mulch better than using the bag. We did not have any clogs in the hose, and all the leaves went into the containers. It's made well and durable, the hose has good flexibility. The only drawback is the hose could be a few feet longer, it's about 8 feet but would be better if it was at least 10 feet. The weight is good and much better than the shoulder bag attachment that gets heavy when full of leaves. The collection system comes with extra attachments for a universal fit with other tools. It's a great value for the money and recommend it.

I bough this item because it will avoid carrying a bag around. The technique is to use the blower to make piles with the leaves and then use the vacuum/mulcher to fill a bag inside a trashcan. That's the idea, but in my first use I discovered that the implementation is not great. A big problem is that the mesh has holes larger than the particles, so a lot of dust comes out. I needed a mask and all my clothes got dust on them. I needed a shower after this. Another issue is that the product does not seal very well around the can, so some mulching escapes through the edges. I will give it another shot with some home made improvements such as adding bungee cords and redirecting the intake... It may still be worth it.

I am using a Husqvarna 128BV blower/vac. Love this machine; it is a beast. Video attached is an attempt to show use in real time. Managing the hose isn't too bad. I have a 96 gal wheeled garbage can I used for collection. The cloth end over the top of the garbage can just fit with some creativity that, after using it for three full tanks of fuel, worked flawlessly. See pictures. The sleeve would not fit over the lid hinges, hence, the creativity with the clamps. Once the clamps were on, the can lid remaining open acted as an anchor to hold the clamps. It never came lose and I was rolling the can around, pulling on the hose from time to time, and shaking the hose from time to time to dislodge leaves. The connection end to the blower/vac never came lose. There are two adapters that come with this product and with the H128BV I used, I did not need either. The stock end of the hose simply slipped over the blower end (see picture) and I locked it down. NOTE..... this product is NOT compatible with the Worx 40V 3 in 1 blower/vac/mulcher. I did not do sufficient research and purchased both only to learn this lesson. I assumed, and we know that that does and it certainly did in this case, with both products being from Worx, they were compatible. Shame on me and lesson learned. For my purposes, vacuuming leaves from a rock-lined sidewalk/driveway, this product saved me a ton of time and energy by not having to empty the shoulder bag every five minutes that comes with the Husqvarna. I did not try this on any other collection can/container. I wish I would have purchased this years ago. Time saver. Easy to use. Worked better than I had expected.

Have a WORX blower/vacuum that this unit is specifically designed to accessorize. Purchased hoping I could get through more of my yard before losing suction and emptying, but unfortunately this fails on all promises. 1. The unit, even with the same-brand plate just doesn't attach to the main unit well. it constantly pops off/doesn't engage the locking mechanism, and even when it is attached, it doesn't actually seal against the opening, which means that it is constantly emitting a dust of small shredded leaves. Full safety goggles were required just to keep from being blinded. 2. A combination of the lack of seal at the main unit, plus a weak drawstring at the trash can means this whole accessory produces almost no suction. Air leaks everywhere, leaves just sit in the tube, and nothing makes it to the trash can. Since this is basically the only purpose of this thing, it provides zero benefit. 3. In the very very few cases where everything lines up (usually because i'm holding the plate hard against the unit, and holding it over my head so the tube lets gravity drop leaves into the can) and you see the fabric balloon up (indicating *some* suction at least) the leaves fill the edge of the bag/cover around the edge of the can lip and not actually in the can. This means that when you loosen the fabric cover, you get a ton of leaves that were in the cover, but not the can, that dump on the ground suddenly. Think the kid who pushes their peas off the edge of their plate, hiding them around the rim - when you pick up the plate, everything is still there on the table. Not sure what might make it work better for others, but the above is obviously my experience only. I'd give zero stars if possible, executing a return and going back to the little bag it came with.

For a few years now I’ve been using the Works Tri-Vac to clean up the billions of leaves that drop every Fall. It’s a great tool, but every ten or so minutes you have to stop and empty the bag into something else, which in my case was my wheelbarrow. This year I decided to try this device and what’s a game changer it’s been! I also bought a cheap 32 gal trash can, and I attach the ‘hood’ around its perimeter so that the mulched leaves flow directly into the trash can, which I have sitting in the wheelbarrow. As the Tri-Vac works its way through the pre-made pile of leaves I’ve previously created using the Tri-Vac’s blower feature, I pull the wheelbarrow another few feet. So now, instead of having to stop every ten minutes to empty a bag, I just keep vacuuming and mulching them into the can. My guess is that I’m able to avoid 1/2 hour worth of bag emptying for each time I’ve filled the 32 gallon can. I’ll admit that putting the device on and off the can takes some getting used to and even then it’s still kind of clumsy; the large flexible hose fights you as you try to secure it to the can (which cost its rating one star). Works should offer a variation of this that incorporates something solid like a barrel hoop into it and sell a purpose-designed 32 gallon can for it to simply snap on and off from. But even using this more ‘universal/adjustable’ device as is, it’s still a significant time saver for me.

Fits all major blower ist auch ungenau, da es mit einer Manchette auf Laubsauger passt, aber nicht funktioniert. Habe ihn auf einen Sauger mit 1:15 Heckslerfunktion gebraucht, wqobei d Manchette und das Rohr ewig verstopft waren, was dazu führte, dass d Blätter aus dem Saugrohr gespuckt wurden. Fazit: Good for nothing, a waste of money and poorly designed scam product.

I finally got round to use this at the weekend. It fitted no problem to my Bosch leaf vacuum and the other end fitted over the brown bin - there is a slight gap due to the lid hinges but have seen another review where they used clamps to reduce the gap for a tighter fit. Will have a go at that next time. Would definitely recommend as it was much easier to do the work, saved a lot of time emptying the bag and pressure on back.

this item is awesome WORKS GREAT MAKES LIFE EASIER AND PUTS 10 bags of leaf's into 1 bag and that makes clean up a lot easier.

I put it to use as as soon as it arrived and I'm happy to report that it does a very good job. It was simple to attach to my existing black and decker mulcher/blower and the other end to a 6 gallon garbage bin. I mulched a fair amount of leaves into the bin and didn't have any issues with clogging. Would be nice if the hose was slightly longer though.
