Well Made, Previous one Lasted 9 years
I first installed one of these 9 years ago. It finally started leaking and emptying the spa. I'm glad they still had this exact same one. Made it real easy to replace by just changing the o-rings and sliding the blue center piece in and retightening using the existing unions. Hope I get another 9 years out of this new one. Things don't usually last that long in chlorine pool. Seems it was very well made. I looked inside to try to figure out what has failed and nothing was obvious, maybe the spring finally wore out or the seals degraded over time. I'm happy with it and will buy again if needed in the future.

Quick. Fast and repaired my pool. Direct replacement, so no extra plumbing was necessary

After 9 months, have to buy another.
Worked as advertised for about 9 months. I use it in my pool spa to prevent back flow from spa to pool after the pool pump turns off. Now after 9 months it has stopped working. Attempted to contact seller for advice or replacement but no response. Very expensive for something that only lasted 9 months!

Easy to replace old one, which broke, because of the o ring sealed universals on each end.
