Great to give with the doll!
I gave this to my daughter with the doll, and she loved it. You can either read it to your child, or they can read it alone/to you if it's at their reading level. It's great for young readers (but not new-to-reading kids), and I like the girl-power message!

Stickers missing and in used condition
The media could not be loaded. Bought this as part of a present for a 5 year old. There are several stickers missing! It definitely is not anywhere near in new condition. Not worth sending back, so I guess she just gets it to play with and it’s on to another site for a better book!

Reading with NO Help
This is a failed attempt at a young-reader's book. The pictures are typical, but the story is NOT:1. No racial integration2. A totally illogical story3. Details to help the reader--young or not--to understand the sequence of the story are sorely lacking. Too many holes in the story to foster comprehension. Characters are introduced willy-nilly, which adds to the confusing sequence of disconnected "episodes" throughout the tale. This is NOT a story since stories have logically connected details. If this type of story doesn't turn off young people to reading, I don't know what would. This type of writing is totally unacceptable!
