My cats are very very picky when it comes to wet food. I have tried many different brands and they only eat Iams wet pate in chicken or tuna flavors. My cats couldn’t eat this faster. Right away from the smell of the food I could tell it was made with better ingredients. It smells like a chicken stew. It smells like real chicken and not like cat food. I’m really impressed by the quality of it. It’s way too much in one package for my two cats to eat at meal time so I will have to do half a package At breakfast and half at another meal. Not sure how they will like it after being refrigerated but hopefully they will. Super impressed by this cat food. Very happy.

Play - Best Feline Friend Pate Lovers Chicken Cherish food. It's a wet food, that comes in a pouch. I've purchased this a bunch of times from Amazon (as well as other pet food companies), & I've yet to receive a box from Amazon that arrives fully intact because they usually send in an envelope so the outer box holding the pouches gets destroyed in the envelope. The pouches have been fine & expiration dates have been far in advance (at least 10 months or more, usually more than a year to use).You get 12 pouches, 3 ounce size, & they're usually around $1.31 each (delivered). This one has a bunch of gravy & you really need to squeeze to get it all out of the pack. I have a senior boy with kidney disease, so I wanted to find him a quality food with lower phosphorus that he will eat. Not all the Weruva are low phosphorus, so you have to do your research. This one he seems to like & it is keeping him eating. Other canned Weruva BFF that he loves is the Chicken checkmate & Topsy Turvy, both come in cans.

I'm really frustrated with this food. It can really be a struggle to find a quality food the cats will eat. At first I thought this was it.My cat liked it and I think it is a better quality food than FF. But, the food did not agree with my cat. We endured quite a few sudden, violent coming out of both ends episodes at 11pm, and nowhere near the litter box, before I figured out that this was the culprit. After I stopped giving her this, she stopped giving me her presents. I don't know if there is some specific ingredient causing the problem, but ,whew, no thank you.The packaging is a little strange, it could be hard to get it all out. It was much harder than a can to cover and save a portion. And it is really not recyclable. Yes, you can get a TerraCycle pouch and return them, although I think they are repurposed rather than recycled. But I have my doubts about how many people actually do that. And nothing beats a good old can for recycling. This company makes canned food also, but the texture is different.I gave it four stars because I think the quality is good and it would be great if it gets along with your cat.

My 17 year old cat loves this food. She can't seem to get enough. I'm thankful to have found a great quality food for her because she has pancreatitis.

I have been purchasing this for my cat for months and she loved it,until my last 2 purchases of pouched chk and the chk and duck, the pate didnt look the same as before very runny she attempted to eat but immediately began throwing up. I thought maybe it was her so I tried another she smelled it and walked away after waating 45 packs looking at the consistancy I decided to change to the canned and she finally was able to eat it. I honestly think the 2 orders of pouched pate were spoiled.its disaapointing because we have always been fond of the pouch food but its not cheap and i wasted $40 becauase theres no returns...

My picky cat has rejected almost every wet food from Petco. Finally!!! I have found one that he loves. Now I can begin to wean him off of unhealthy kibble and onto hydrating Paté!

Packaging makes it difficult to get every last bit out. Like cans better. Cats love it and eat every bit!

After we received the box there was a strong laundry detergent smell, almost threw up. And when we opened the package, individual pouches inside were also smelling strongly as laundry detergent. Had to wash all the pouches, still stinks very strong. This is not acceptable, is this the manufacturer's fault or Amazon storage or handling?I can't find any other way to complain about this product so I'm writing here. Previous purchases were OK, this one had a severely toxic smell.

Both of my fussy cats like this pate food. As long as they keep eating it, I will keep buying it for them. Never any left in their bowls, so that's a good thing.

Its pricey, but great quality. My 16 year old cat finds it easy to eat and digest
