Circle Cutter with 3 Replacement Blades - 1" to 8 Cut Length - Arts and Crafts Paper Cutter - Clear/Orange

I used this item to make snow globe Christmas cards. It was the perfect size for the card and allowed a nice photograph to fit in the background. I also ordered snowflake glitter. The card stock was heavy and the cutter cut perfectly. I did take a practice cut or two so I could master the technique.

First of all I am not just using this just to cut paper, which it does nicely. I also use it to cut acetate circles, thats what takes a little practice. Pro: gives you 3 cutting heads easily cuts paper circles Con: size markers and arrows tough to see and line up, making it hard to cut the right size the first time. instructions not made for old eyes.

My Fiskars Circle cutter arrived ready for me to use to cut circles out of my cardstock paper. It is easy to use and because you can see the paper you are cutting, it is useful for cutting pre-designed papers. I did find it hard to use initially, the directions were difficult for me to follow.. Once I started using it, cutting circles were easy. It comes with replacement blades which I think is great. I won't have to order and pay for replacement blades for a while. It cuts well and cleanly. I think that once one gets through the directions for its use, it does the job well. Fiskars is a well known brand and this Circle cutter lives up to my expectations.

Unable to cut the circle right because the orange knob prohibits you from seeing center placement of cutter on paper.

This was a life saver! But, having a guide or marking, something, to place over the item you’re cutting would be a great help! Hard to cut an even circle. Also, blades are not sharp! Had to use 2 blades to cut 24 images. And the gadget to adjust for sizing the cut was not easy to find or use.

It worked! I like the uniformity of the circle. Measure mark and use the tool. I used a cutting pad. It didn’t go though all the layers pressing hard but got the first two. So I finished up with tiny scissors and it was easy with circle already cut for guide. So much better than I could have done without it

The cutting blade has NOTHING holding it in, and when I opened the package it dropped to the floor (tile) and of course landed tip down and broke. POOR DESIGN. Now I have only the 2 spare cutters. The size adjustment is a CLEAR arrow stamped on a CLEAR plastic piece that is supposed to align with a set of CLEAR lines... and it's located INSIDE the body. POOR DESIGN. There's so much 'stuff' in the way that it's hard to see where you place the cutter. It would have been sooooo easy to print a series of thin concentric black circles on the base to help align the cutter... but NOOOOO. There's NO depth control. So when cutting paper, it cuts all the way through your base material, causing more wear on the blade. Again, could have easily made it adjustable, but nope. Functional? Yes, it will cut circles, slowly and with some awkwardness. Would I buy again? Meh... maybe if it was just for me, but definitely not for a non-adult, especially with a razor sharp blade that just falls out.

The circle cutter is excellent for cutting out circles on plain card/paper, but if you want to cut out an image with a defined circular border, its very difficult to find the center of the image you want to cut out, with the orange push handle at the top. Wasted so many photocopies.

Très pratique. Attention, sur certains supports, peut glisser et se déplacer. Rien à redire sinon.
