Injen TechnologySES1579 Exhaust System

Editing my original review. This axle back is garbage. Injen did not do a good job designing this axle back....it tucks up too far under the rear bumper. The exhaust is melting the SI bumper trim because the pipe does not come out far enough. I've contacted Injen, I'll keep everyone updated.Seller was excellent, item was packaged with care. I did a lot of research trying to find an exhaust that would be louder than factory, but not obnoxious (either inside or outside the car). I watched many online videos and selected this axle back for my 2015 stock Honda Civic Si. It does sound great outside the car, and it is a little louder than I was expecting (which will only get louder in time when the muffler burns in). Inside the cabin however is a different story. At idle it sounds stock. From idle to 3000 rpm it sounds deep and sporty. From 3000 to 4000 it has significant (Think annoying) drone that you can feel throughout the cabin. From 4000 until redline it quiets down and sounds great. Doesn't sound like a bad deal....except for 3000-4000 is your cruising rpm on the interstate. I am in the process of trying to insulate my trunk to cut down on the drone. If I can get it to be manageable I'll keep it, if not I will be returning to stock. It takes 10 minutes to install unless you have a hitch like I do (had to remove it to install). Overall I'll give it 3 stars...sounds awesome outside the car, I just don't know if I can live with the drone. Also, the tip does not come out as far as the factory one and it really heats up the factory bumper.

This product was easy to install on my 2015 Civic Si, but it created an unbearable drone in the cabin. It's not just loud, the exhaust note was in a register that made your skull feel like it was vibrating. The pitch made it very hard to hear the engine, talk or listen to music. To me, it is as if the exhaust note is not low enough. I removed this from my car and replaced it with an Invidia Q300. For comparison's sake, the Invidia is still very noticeable, but the exhaust note leaves room for engine sound, talking and music as it's general tone is much lower. The Invidia, being a cat-back system, also provided noticeable performance gains while the Injen did not. I went with the Injen first because this was my first mod and I wanted it to be an easy one. Now that I've had it and the Invidia on my car, I can definitely say that it isn't worth it and I'd rather leave the car stock than have this installed.

Got this unit instead because I wanted a more aggressive tone than stock. It was also a bit cheaper than a full exhaust or header-back. This exhaust has quality construction of SS, and was easy to install.EDIT: I recently installed the Full-race 3" exhaust with downpipe, which is actually quieter than this exhaust, and while I loved this exhaust when I had it installed, I does have a bit of drone. Never really bothered me to be honest. When removing the product, a little over a year of being under the car in New England it has held up great. The SS looks new, and welds don't even have a hint of rust.

This made my 2015 civic si sound beastly, surprisingly not extremely loud in the interior unless you are v-tech'n it hard af. From outside the vehicle however, there is a much throatier sound and even sounds like it coughs up some fireballs a little when you down shift. Easy to install, took about 45 minutes, 30 minutes to remove the old exhaust, and 15 to just slip this guy in real quick n easy breezy mc'deluxe. 2 bolts, no problems!

Very nicely made piece. Was easy to install without special tools in my driveway. Unfortunately it was a bit on the loud side for my personal taste. Sounded fantastic at higher RPM but a bit too much resonance and drone at lower engine speeds and anything other than a very light throttle cruise. If I was 20 years younger maybe.

Fits perfectly for 9th Gen Civic Si. Sounds strong, with a good exhaust note. I’ve had this on for over 10,000 miles now and I love it. I commute every day with my 9th Gen Civic and I love the exhaust.

Great alternative to full cat back system. Not super loud but loud enough outside. No cabin drone at cruise or freeway. Installs in twenty minutes. A little overpriced for just a axle back muffler but save you the cost of someone welding another one on

Sounds excellent, installed on my 2013 Civic si sedan. Great deep tone, with no raspiness. Just the perfect volume, quiet at cruising speeds, and really comes alive when you are past half throttle. Screams when you wan it, stealthy when you want it, perfect exhaust.

Shipped quickly and hassle free, in very protective packaging. Got this way earlier than I expected to!Great overall finished product, but it did take a bit of exhaust hanger adjustment in order to properly center the tip in the bumper cut-out.At least 5 times louder than stock at minimum. For those who want a small increase in exhaust noise, this is not the setup for you. I expected something quieter, however I have no regrets!There is a slight drone, but the quality of the sound outweighs that. It has a very smooth and deep sound - not at all cheap sounding or tinny, which I can't stand... It even has the occasional pop/crackle upon downshifting and deceleration.A great addition to my '15 Civic SI Coupe.

Fits good, the sound is a little loud but not bad. Sounds good in VTEC, cold start is loud. Overall I think it's worth it if you don't wanna spend alot on a full catback if your just looking for some sound
