Easy to assemble (instructions and video show this). Bench is sturdy and seems solid. Good quality materials. If foam difficult to slide on bars then use a bit of soapy water. Exercise booklet and you tube movies included to show you how to get the best out of this bench. I am 6'1" and have been using this every other day for over 4 months now without any issues. Comfortable and well padded support for back and legs. Folds handily and easily. Price is very good for such a well made weight bench. I am very happy to recommend this product.

This is sturdy when built up and comfortable to sit on. It is though not easy to build up. The footrest can't be locked into place but swivels around a screw. It also feels to small for me to do sit ups in. I am 6 foot 2. I also thought this is easier to fold away and store out of the way. You need to pull a pin and take a screw out to do this. For me that doesn't seem practical. So not for me. Sorry

I have been using the SportsTech BRT500 now for over a month and have been very impressed. I chose to order this bench as it has one of the higher total weight limits of the benches at this price point and can confirm that it is very solidly built. On taking delivery I was extremely happy with how the bench was packaged (a higher quality than I exprected). The instructions for assembly were very clear and everything went together easily (tolerances of manufacture I found to be impressive and everything fit together perfectly - this is something I personally value and is so sadly missing on many products these days).The pads and seat material are of a high quality and I believe they will last well and the mechanisms for folding and adjusting the bench are well thought out, easy to use and solid. The bench can be folded flat enough to fit under a bed which is great.Overall I am very pleased with my purchase and was pleasantly surprised by the build quality - I would certainly recommend to friends.

This is my seventh Sportstech equipment and the most impressive one. arrived quickly, assembled extremely easily by two people, a pleasing feeling on inspecting every component while assembling it, first class quality materials and finishing, neat and sturdy and oozing of quality, not one issue with any part, flattened to store in seconds.I only tried it and initially tested it, at this time, but had a feeling that it will stand up to the wear and tear of long term regular use.I have already been impressed with every item that I bought from Sportstech but this one gave me and my PT a buzz of excitement and expectation at using it.

I recently purchased a BRT 500 8 in 1 Weight Bench. It came flat packed but was easily assembled with tools supplied. Once assembled I found it extremely robust and well made. I have used it continually since purchase and have found it probably the best piece of equipment for training I have ever acquired. Easy to use and it shows no sign of any part coming loose - a common problem with self assembled equipment. The many positions it can take gives me and excellent work out.Great value and I feel it will last and meet my needs into the future.

Flimsy in places due to very thin metal. One part was missing a screw hole and was too thin anyway.Some large screws had poor quality threading, making them almost impossible to screw. WD40 could not resolve this.It would have been a good product if it was built to a higher standard.

Very robust and versatile training aid. I absolutely love it as its well designed and easy to use. Targets specific muscle groups for each workout. Very good piece of German engineering and fantastic fitness equipment thsts easy to use n store.
