Can these be washed and used again with sterile gauze?

Technically yes. However, these are trauma dressings for severe injuries. i.e. lots of blood. I doubt it would be worthwhile trying to wash and sterilise them after use. £5.00 or so for a single use dressing may seem expensive. Really cheap if it saves a life though.
