TCLAlto 5+ 2.1 Channel Home Theater Sound Bar with Wireless Subwoofer - Ts5010, Black, 32"

I purchased this because my TCL tv speakers for some reason weren't as loud as they use to be. Turns out I just needed to move my tv and they got louder. Which I figured out after I ordered this 😆 Any who, item arrived on time with pretty fast shipping, about 4 days. It was bigger than I excepted for the price tag of around $135 after tax. Hook up was super simple and came with all cords to hook up all the different ways. I use the optic cord and it sounds great. Easy settings in my tv to get it connected to the speaker. Now the Bluetooth. This thing is incredible!! I was completely impressed. That subwoofer hits pretty damn hard and the speaker gets almost too loud 🤣 and I LOVE loud music. I find the Bluetooth is significantly louder than the optic setting for sound. But I don't want my movies as loud as my music anyways. Just as good, if not better than the $300 systems some of my friends have. My TCL tv remote controls the unit as well. Only thing I don't like is there are only 3 preset settings to choose from for sound. Other than that, I highly recommend checking this out. You won't be disappointed. I know I wasn't.

This soundbar is AMAZING! I already own a few TCL TVs and I love them, so I wanted to add more sound to my living room TV as we often have people over to watch football games, UFC fights etc. I'm pretty OCD about things, and wanted my soundbar to match my TV, so when I found out TCL was coming out with soundbars I was super stoked! Setup was easy and the sound is AWESOME! It really makes me feel like I am at a movie theater or sporting event! It's just what I was looking for I couldn't be happier. The price is great and you wont be disappointed!

I had no issues connecting it to my TCL TV via optical cable. TV remote still controls volume. Only negatives are 1) Loss of OSD for volume. Not sure if that is really something I can fault the sound bar for. 2) Lack of even basic audio controls like bass/trebel. It can be quite boomy and makes it difficult to watch TV at night without disturbing the house.

We had to move our stereo that the TV was hooked up to so I got this sound bar. Its mounted on the wall under the TV so I didn't want a wired sub-woofer. The Sub-woofer sits under a chair. While its not a booming surround sound it gives a much richer sound then the TV but itself and has some nice bass that you won't get from just a soundbar. Plus I like that it goes to sleep then automatically turns on when sound goes into it.

This soundbar was easy to set up with the new 65" TCL Roku television. I bought them as a combo. I was very surprised at the quality of sound the unit produced. Even the kids were blown away. Very good for the price. Definitely would have paid a lot more with similar quality on another brand.I am very pleased!

While I'm more experienced with tons of wires and and down firing sub, I just moved and cash is tight. This came as a bundle with a 50" TV.. why not!?I think it's perfect for my 1BR apt. The sound is clean. The bass, however, won't shake any floors. You really have to look for it to feel it. However, it does it's job at sensible volumes.

I bought the TV+TCL Alto 5+ combo in August of 2020. The audio is better than the tlc speakers so there's that. Unfortunately not soon after I bought the tv + sound bar combo, the subwoofer stopped working. I spent the last few months trying to get it to work but it's just not working anymore. I can clearly see the subwoofer connects to the sound bar, (the orange light becomes solid) but just does nothing else. No audio is pushed to the speaker of the subwoofer. The sound bar it self does sound better than the tv speakers but it's just not the same without the subwoofer. Looses that umph that it would have if the sub still functioned. The remote control is a generic one you would get with a car stereo from walmart with specialty buttons designed for this sound bar. On the other hand, the TCL tv's remote works with the sound bar. It has a passthrough so your Roku tv remote can actually reach the tv since the bar is too tall and blocks the IR receiver so thats good at least. My suggestion is look for a better quality sound bar elsewhere. One that doesn't have a subwoofer that will boom it self to death.

Great sound for a decent price. It works great on the roku TV. You can control the volume through the roku remote. Only downside is if you use the optical cable you get feedback through the audio video side if you play video games.

Buen sonido y ayuda mucho que tenga Dolby atmos, yo personalmente lo uso para video juegos pero se escucha igual de bien con series o películas, en el apartado de música en ocasiones el bajo pareciese que está a punto de romperse en volúmenes moderadamente altos...

Samsung's comparable line of products definitely a better buy than this. Only bought it as it came in a discounted package, not very happy. It functions and was easy to set up, so i wont completely hack the rating.Lots of crackling at higher volumes - I believe the optical audio cable came damaged as that is most likely the source.

I did a lot of research before purchasing. We are very happy with sound quality and slim design of this system. I love the fact that if you misplace the remote it’s still fully functional from well designed manual controls directly on top of the unit.
