Rodent trap.
Thought we had a mouse for a couple of weeks, turned out it was a young rat. The day before the trap came a neighbors cat frightened it and we haven't seen it since. The trap arrived on time and even though we don't seem to have a rat anymore the trap is ready. The build quality is great really strong and the trigger mechanism is really sensitive. Also in the rear is a smaller opening that would allow a mouse to enter and then close behind it, witch I didn't expect. It's been out now for 3days but no rat. Would I buy it again yes as the quality is first class. Also the delivery stated Thursday or Friday and came on the Thursday so well pleased.

Worked really well
Needed this to catch a squirrel in my loft. I tried using normal mouse traps but they were too small. Came quickly and it was the cheapest I could find on Amazon. It didn’t come with instructions but I was able to set it up very easily. It worked perfectly, set the trap and put some peanut butter on the trigger. Within a couple of hours the squirrel was inside and trapped. Handle meant I could pick up the cage easily and very easy to open with foot to get the animal out. Definitely worth the money

Ok
The gap at the back is too big, small rats/mice can get out. I took the but that lifts up off then covered the hole with it and wired it in place. Good size but I didn't catch anything in this one but will set it again if the rats come back.

This trap really works.
The media could not be loaded. The construction of this Squirrel Trap is exceptional and extremely good value for money.I had 2 Squirrels living in the roof of my New Build home. I'd been warned that, apart from the irritating noises, especially at night time, there was a danger of them causing a fire in the roof, by biting through mains wiring. So I got this Squirrel Trap with anticipation. It requires a fair big of skill to set it up with enticing nuts etc. So if at first you don't succeed, keep trying. My perfect combination was Monkey Nuts (peanuts) in shells PLUS some sticky, Crunchy Peanut Butter. Being sticky, it fixes the peanut shells to the release mechanism perfectly.I caught both the Squirrels over a fortnight and an added benefit, I caught a cute baby Rat too.I drove 2 miles to the countryside and released each of those 3 cute animals I'd successfully captured, using this fantastic Squirrel Trap. I can't speak highly enough about this ingenious trap.

Failed to catch rat or mouse
Bought off Amazon in November 2023 and to date (June 2024) the trap has failed to catch any mouse or rat. Having a problem in my garage with mice (or possibly rats) I have used this trap. The enticing bait has always been eaten but the rodent has evaded capture. The trap is set up properly but these rodents are either damn clever or like the late Houdini, possess an inexplicable ability to escape! They either manage to open up the small trap door at the one end or the larger and much stronger trap door at the other end fails. The bait is always gone when I check the trap and strangely, the trap has sprung and failed to capture anything. The trap appears well made and strong but it fails in its objective to trap anything so essentially, it’s been a waste of my effort.

STURDY MAKE BUT SMALL TRAP DOOR CAN ALLOW SMALLER PREY TO OVERCOME IT & ESCAPE
Construction is good and simple to set up with the rod trigger mechanism. Small trap door is a weakness as not only does the sloping roof lift but it has some sideways slack and a smaller rat managed to wriggle it upwards and escape before I could foil it. Have since wired it tight and bent some of the small inner wall bars at an angle to close the gap. Good service from seller.

It worked
The bar which holds up the door is a bit trigger happy so had to bend it a bit. Caught the varmint in question!! Good construction, easy to use after minor modification
