and I was not able to attend and I wanted to start reading his books after hearing how wonderful his presentation was
Dr. Griffin was recently in my town, and I was not able to attend and I wanted to start reading his books after hearing how wonderful his presentation was. I don't consider myself to have PTSD, however after 16 years of fire and EMS I have calls that still haunt me as I am sure many of my brothers and sisters do. This book was wonderful, it truly tells the battle of a real man, who has made it his Mission to help others out of his traumatic event. Take the time to read this book from Dr. Griffin, it will not disappoint, and it may just help you.

Highly Recommended
This is a powerful story about tragedy and how something good can from it. Dr Griffin tells his story about how the loss of 9 firefighters changes his life and his mission to not let it happen again and to never forget the Charleston 9. If you are in the fire service this is a must read.

Love this book
Love this book! Helped me a lot through a hard time. Even though it is a story of a survivor firefighter after a tragic event, I would suggest this book to anyone that has been through a traumatic event
