I purchased this as a little "gift" for my husband who likes to play music from his Mac Laptop while he's in the garage working - yeah, I know - he couldn't see the potential for computer catastrophe! Well, this little speaker (in blue) came to the rescue! It had good reviews, simple to set up, completely wireless, good range and rechargeable with an included usb recharging cable - so I bought it. It has amazing sound for such a little thing and husband absolutely loves it! He takes it to the garage, to the deck and the Mac stays safely inside. :-) I wish I had thought of it many months ago! My daughter later received one (in green) at her office Christmas gift exchange and is very happy with it as well. I'm a teacher and when my projector was finally installed on the ceiling (yay!) they didn't also install an audio cable therefore I still have the same old speakers running to my laptop on my desk and tripping me every other day. I think my students (high schoolers) have a pool going on when I'll actually hit the floor. LOL! ;-) You would think that it would have occurred to me sooner but just the other day my husband mentioned that I should get one of these for my classroom before I broke my neck. When I went on Amazon to do just that, they were on sale! Yay! I just received mine - in silver - and I can't wait to use it in the class. I don't think my students will be saying "Mrs. Martin, we can't hear it!" because the volume goes much higher than I would use in the classroom. So, if you need a small, little speaker (check measurements - fits in the palm of your hand) with great sound (you can actually hear bass), easy to set up, portable/cordless on wi-fi - this is the way to go. Plus, it will keep your computers, etc. safe while take the music with you! :-)

This thing is great! I take it with me when i'm working...or just hanging out...I even take it in the one car that doesn't have a radio in it...I liked it so much I even bought one for my sister....you can use it with blue tooth...or I bought a sandisk Sansa clip..and I just usually plug it into that because its just a tiny little thing...and it meets my needs... It is loud enough for times when say you are hanging outside with friends...at night or at a camp fire...and you just want to hear some music...stuff like that...obviously it probably wouldn't be good for a huge party...but it is pretty loud...when i'm working if i have it downstairs and i'm upstairs i can still hear the music...I've used it with the blue tooth on my phone and my computer too...both work well...I like that if you forgot to charge it...or it runs out while you are listening to it...you can plug it in and it works still...when its charged...I would say it lasts maybe 4 hours...maybe a little more...I noticed it depends how loud you have the music too...its 100% clear sound...oh how i hate some when you turn it up it sounds distorted... Oh and if i'm outside in the summer swimming...its not that good for that...I think its too big an area to try and hear it...I use other speakers for then...but like I said...if you were all sitting together outside talking...you could put it on the table with you and it would be just fine as far as loudness goes...great little wireless speaker for a great price!!!

I have used this speaker for nearly two years, and I really like its sound. After a couple of years, though, the low end volume is scratchy but the mid and upper end of loud is still crisp. It's the speaker, as I connect via bluetooth, cable, and on different devices and the result is the same. The bluetooth function worked ok, but I needed to reload the device on my Iphone and laptop relatively frequently. Part of the problem is that if the speaker is used on more than one device, the other devices tend to "fight" over ownership of the bluetooth signal. I ultimately bought a couple of cables to use when plugged in on Iphone or laptop just to make daily use simple. But- I do use the bluetooth frequently and it does work well. Battery life is 3-4 hours depending upon volume. Once again, I have a USB cable to keep it charged while using it on the laptop, so no big deal. Overall, not a bad speaker for the price. If it only lasts a couple of years, not a big deal due to price, but I don't like the waste of throwing away something that still kind of works. I did give a couple of the speakers which got scratchy at low volume to teenagers in my family who play their music louder, so the speaker didn't really go to waste. But..... So, this speaker gets 3-4 stars when it should be a solid 5 due to the low volume sound.

One of the few devices that doesn't turn off and break Bluetooth connectivity when idle. Great sound quality and decent battery life.

This speaker is a bommmb soooo goood

I use it at work and for the bathroom when I want to take my music with me on the go. It's battery life isn't the greatest, but otherwise it works well in a pinch, and any device that works with bluetooth can utilize it. I don't give it 5 stars simply because the sound quality isn't the best, but then again, what do you expect from a single tiny speaker?
