I highly recommend this mat, particularly for anyone with knee issues. I've been using it regularly for my yoga practice on hard wood floors, and it provides excellent cushioning and comfort. A great bonus is that it lays perfectly flat as soon as I unroll it, even though I store it rolled up. It has held up well over the past few months with no problems, and the included straps make it very convenient to carry. I'm very happy with the quality for the price.

I love this yoga exercise mat. I am a plus size woman and really enjoy the extra cushioning this mat provides. The memory foam makes me feel so comfortable and any impressions or indentations go away immediately. The mat does not lose its shape or flatten out like some thinner yoga mats do. The tacky, non-slip surface of this mat also allows me to hold my yoga postures longer without my feet constantly sliding. The black color is great because it does not show dirt or discolorations like some lighter colored mats do. This mat is easy to roll up and has a convenient strap to carry it with. It's an excellent value for the money as it costs just about the same as a regular yoga mat. If you decide to buy this, you won't be disappointed!

We have 2 of these yoga mats. We use them for all floor exercises. I like the extra thickness because they are very durable, firm but soft enough to be on your knees and elbows doing exercises.

Very comfortable and thick. However, it seems like plain foam. No protective coating. On my first use, it started scraping off from friction with feet doing yoga, so it won't last too long.

I received this yesterday and as soon as I opened the box, was expecting to see a thin mat, but true to product description, it truly IS a 1/2" thickness. It is very cushy and soft. I wanted to do some stretches and exercises on it (since I have bare concrete floors) and it was so comfortable laying on it. I am very satisfied! One thing to note that may help: once you get it out of the box, use the accompanying wrapping stretchy bands that come with it (for storage)... and flip the mat, roll it against the curl, wrap it with the bands, and let it sit for a few hours. It will soon flatten out!

Bought this after buying one from 5 below cause that one came really thin and it had a lot of foam coming off but with this one my wife says she has a lot if cushion when she is doing floor exercises. She says she doesn't recommend for hiit workouts just cause in our floor tiles it does move around but other than that she says she really likes it
