I wanted something to stream my movies on my Phone to a cheap projector I bought from Amazon a while ago. This little device does the job perfectly. I was up and running in less than five minutes. It's a small Device, weighs nothing, and works great. However Netflix users please note. Apparently Netflix have stopped the Airplay facility. So if like me you wanted to stream Netflix to this device on a projector, it probably won't work..... YouTube and other movie streaming apps work fine. I'm going to buy another one to keep as spare, it just works. Get one, at this price you can't go wrong...

The idea behind this was probably good on paper but there are problems.Makes windows slow down to a crawl for no reason. Crashes the operating system as well. You will be spending hours correcting any problems to your operating system.Its not just windows though. If you have a projector with miracast, you can connect to that fine but good luck getting the dongle to work properly.Looks like it is designed exclusively for apple and iphones.Also not sure about the dongles connectivity with android, was unable to test it out.

When o first got the product it was easy to install and worked great everytime wanted to use it...now for over a week I havent been able to connect my phone to the device at all...it starts to connect and then says unplug device and try again....tried that tried a different hdmi port and pressed the little button on the device and it just wont connect at all...I'm v v disappointed..

Bought this for using in our motorhome but disappointed with the performance, particularly the streaming from apps as the video playback is not smooth even when its perfect on the originating device.Connecting to your home wifi network takes a bit of knowledge as you have to connect firstly to the units own wifi SSID then use the default IP address to get to the setup screen on your mobile device screen. Once you've connected it to your wifi network you need to use the new IP address allocated by DHCP on your router to get back to the setup screen for updating firmware etc. One good thing is the default GUI screen text shows both these addresses so you don't have to look in your routers IP allocation table once the device is connected to your wifi.Works with You Tube and BBC iPlayer but not with Virginmedia Go or Now TV which was disappointing.Main issue for me was the video performance so have returned this to Amazon for a refund and will stick to a Google Chromecast which works perfectly on Now TV for example.

Easy to install, just plug in and play. The beauty of this is that you can screen mirror without connecting to the wi fi. Although make sure your phone is not connected to the internet to have a smooth connection, but I guess depend how old and fast is your phone.

Firstly, the set-up instructions are meager, ridiculous and mystifying and takes a while of head scratching to decipher the strange code, probably written by a drunk.Once working out how it works, you will find that it doesn't work.I'll be putting this back into the cheap box it came in and sending it back.My word to describe this item: 'rubbish'
