These plugs are same ones I used at my mechanic shop. Good quality and haven't had one leak yet. Aslong as the hole isn't to big and the hole isn't on the side wall they hold great. No tire plugs will hold in side wall. The steel and nylon bands are what hold plugs in. Loading them in installation tool with ease. And if a plug isn't gonna hold usually you will know that day

These are the BEST!! Simply put, they are thicker and stickier, which is what you want!! The black ones are skinny and the vulcanizing rubber cement they use is less effective. In case of a really small puncture you can ream them out a little if the brown ones are too big. Just means you will get a much better seal!! I always buy the brown repair plugs, they are worth the extra money. I have have some punctures that took three plugs, and it still sealed and held on the highway to get to someplace to replace it, or at least put in a patch on the inside for a repair that big. I can’t say enough how much better the brown ones are to the standard black ones. They are definitely worth the cost and trouble to get them, I never use the black ones.

I have used plugs for some 30 years now. Patching a tire really sucks! Plugs work great. I have used plugs in areas that you really shouldn't, but in a jam you have to make it work. These seem to work just fine.....
