Bjork Maja Wood Open Back Leather Clogs

Fit is great, beautifully made, staples are even , leather looks of very good quality , color rich, lightweight, footbed shaped nicely(not too aggressive, but comfortable and supportive in correct places) comfortable straight out of box. Fit nicely with or without socks. Brought 41 according to company suggestion for size 10. I have a wide, thick foot and short toes. Measure exactly 9 1/2 wide at shoe store. Wear 40 wide in Dansko professional closed back clogs and 40 in Dansko Sonja open back clog. Have a 39 wide in Dansko XP - it is a tad short, but doable once broken in. These are true to size in length per the brand size chart and definitely cut to fit a wider foot. If your foot is more on the narrow width, I think maybe a size down from chart suggestion. I ordered Vollsjo, they looked very nice and were fairly inexpensive, but ran too narrow for me in size 40 and hurt to walk in. I was afraid they’d hurt even in larger size so returned. Company was excellent to deal with. These look the best of any I’ve ordered, not clunky or heavy at all, and look good on my foot. Very pleased with quality and price.! Definitely ordering more colors. I am hard to fit, teach middle school all day standing constantly. These are highly recommended!

These are AWESOME. Very comfortable. The toe box is ideal for foot structure. The sole, with upturned toe area is helpful in reducing foot fatigue and pain in arthritic toes, and overall leg fatigue. They absolutely run large, however, I wear heavy socks in the cold weather. Due to reconstructive surgery in both my feet and ankles, having the room for extra thick socks is so much better. My bones have cushioning, support and don't rub or have pressure. Tgese clogs are so well made. I am highly satisfied. Thank you!

Wore without socks and vinyl on inner sole peeled. Was all over bottom of my feet. Should not happen for a $90 shoe! Great looking, just like mine from the 70’s which were not $90 so would expect better quality

If I could give 10 stars I would. I have never been so in love with a pair of shoes as these. Anything cow (almost) I love. So when I saw these, I had to have. Never wearing clogs before, I didnt know what to expect. First, how the hell are they so comfortable with no cushion. Idk but I am amazed at the comfort. I have had many shoes with suposed great cushion, hurt. For me the size was perfect. Normally wear size 9 so order 40. Was worried about the fit since I can wear anywhere from an 8 to a 9.5 depending on the shoe. So ordering any shoe online is scary for me lol. The grip on these shoes is very solid. Haven't tested on all surfaces in all situations, but on hardwood, tile, and carpet I feel that if my husband wants to move me, he is gona have to pick me up lol. The only downside I see maybe, is I cant run in them. Or walk very fast. As I said, I never had clogs. So may just be a learning period really. And this has nothing to do with the quality, just the kind of shoe. Since they are wooden sole there is no flex of course. So if you never had clogs before keep that in mind. You will need a minute to get use to that. Anyway, I think I will be buying more in the future.

Thank you Amazon for missizing my shoes. 1 and 2. I have wide toes. The clogs are fine and are comfortable. Wooden Dr Scholl’s veteran here. HOWEVER - i ordered a 9-9.5 which SHOULD GIVE ME MORE THAN ENOUGH LENGTH. That is not what i have. My heels are right on the back. If i have a millimeter there from my heel to the edge - i will need a microscope to find it. You should have some space so your heel is stabilized and you aren’t walking out of your clogs. Awesome. I hate sending crap back because they don’t sort it back - they put it in an unwanted pile of not going to sort or fix that and put it back. I guess i will have tiny clean feet for special occasions. I have to order a 10- 10.5. We had Swedes in our church. Their clogs were huge. They are meant for everyday wear and stability not - little kids clothing option. The toe box is small. It’s almost the same identical pair i ordered from clog world only Bjork - has a more square toe and clog world has a more rounded tapered toe. You should be able to wear wool socks in your clogs.

AHH these clogs are so nice. You can tell that they're made with care. The staples are well lined up, which is often not the case with more expensive clogs. The leather is supple and the wood is 'finished' which is nice. I will admit, they don't have quite the same orthopedic feel as my Bjork Mary Jane clogs that are made in Sweden (these are made in Europe, which is still great). My ankles are pronated, and I feel the other pair (mary janes) may actually turn my ankles out and correct my spinal posture a little more. These do have more of a rocker feel, however. Both pairs (these and the Bjork Mary Janes) fit large - I think clogs are generally supposed to slip a bit - but these are truly wide.. I feel like I could accidentally kick them off! You can see in the photos that even with socks, there's a gap. I'm a standard 8.5 or 39.. maybe somewhere between 8 and 8.5 (in shoes that run very true to size; Uugs, for example..) Anyway, the length is tts. I gave 5 stars because the craftsmanship is better than some more expensive clogs.. and they are beautiful for those who need wide clogs, which can be hard to find. Could I live with them? Sure, but at the same time, I don't want to accidentally kick a clog at someone.. so I will probably return!

Full disclosure I'm over 50. Have had plantar fasciitis surgery and both feets about 13 years ago now I struggle with rheumatoid arthritis and both knees and ankles and I am overweight with high arches and have square shaped feet, not daintily angled toes. The best part about these shoes is the arch support and how the shoe is designed to not slide off your foot when walking. Oftentimes clogs tend to slide off my foot causing a gripping response by my toes to keep them on. For me this aggravates my plantar fasciitis. The way these shoes are carved perfectly to fill my medium high arch is wonderful And I can honestly say my foot feels at one with the shoe when walking. The opening is wide enough to allow the top of my foot to fit the shoe without needing to stretch it out. The anti-skid design on the bottom works perfectly. The first time I tried them out was on an a damp inclined walkway into my place of work. Not once did I feel unsteady which I can't say for other shoes that I've worn on this pavement. The next thing I love about these shoes is they're not too heavy, And I didn't find myself tripping over the edge of rugs. Lastly I think they look very nicely on my feet, not too big and clown like like some clogs can be. The foot bed is solid wood which I love as it prevents that sweaty foot smell from setting in and the solidness keeps me from feeling unsteady.

These clogs are great, wide and comfy. Pair in brown: five stars. Additional review: I ordered a second pair (this time in red) but I received a different product. The brown Maja Bjork clogs (made in Poland) are beautifully shaped, wide enough, good craftsmanship, the label under the heel is made of leather. I was so happy with them, that I immediately ordered another pair but in red. The red pair is narrower and differently shaped, not as comfy and well done as the brown pair. See my pics. The red pair has a plastic sticker on the heel (not a leather label) that says made in Europe (no specification of the country). However, it seems like these were manufactured by a different manufacturer than the brown model or a differently shaped mold was used to make the leather top. The instep part of the red clogs is higher and straight, whereas the brown ones have a nice, curve shaped instep. This is not cool, as it is supposed to be exactly the same model, ordered from the same company, just different color. So, the Maja Bjork red clogs that arrived do not match the photo of the advertised model. One of the red clogs also had a misshaped, wrinkled tip (toe area) that is very obvious. I have to return the red pair. I wish there was a way to make sure that when I order these clogs, I get the same model featured on the photograph, because I would love to get the red clogs as advertised (that particular shape/design with the leather heel sticker, made in Poland). Pair in red: 3 stars.

The toe box is wide, the craftsmanship and quality is fantastic. Just like they used to be back in the 70s! Have to save up my money and grab a few more colors!
