5/5 Stars - A total lifesaver for parents of teenagers! We had to go old school because phone alarms just weren't cutting it for my teenage boys anymore. This Amazon brand alarm clock has been an absolute lifesaver for our morning routine. The quality is good especially considering the very affordable price point. It’s reliable, easy to use, and actually gets them out of bed on time. Please note, it’s basic but does its job. If your kids are sleeping through their phones, do yourself a favor and get this clock!

Screeching. Loud. Annoying. But it gets me up in thr morning and scares me and makes me sweat when paired with two others. Tiny too and really easy to figure out.

Update: apparently my husband’s glasses were in front of the alarm clock and made it look like lights were burnt out, but no lights are burnt out. It seems like a good value for the money. At first I was impressed with this alarm clock. The sound it makes is annoying enough to wake up even the soundest sleepers. My issue with this alarm clock is the fact some of the led lights have already burnt out. We bought the alarm clock on August 28th and already have lights burnt out on September 13th. It would have been a good value for the money if the lights did not burn out. I did like the feature of having a lighted snooze button.

I was looking for a straightforward, no-nonsense alarm clock for my nightstand, and this Amazon Basics digital oval clock fits the bill perfectly for almost everything. The compact footprint takes up very little space on the bedside table, yet the LED display is large and clear enough to read from across the room without needing to squint. The brightness level of the display is just right. It is vibrant enough to see clearly during the day, but it does not flood the entire bedroom with harsh light at night, allowing for a good night of sleep. The integrated nightlight feature is a fantastic addition, providing just enough soft illumination if you need to get up in the dark without waking up your partner. The battery backup feature also provides excellent peace of mind if the power blinks overnight. The only reason I am knocking this down to four stars is that turning the alarm completely off in the morning is a bit tedious. While the snooze button is easy to hit, finding and pressing the specific button to fully shut off the alarm while you are still half-awake takes a bit of fumbling around. It is not a dealbreaker, but a slightly more intuitive or prominent off switch would make it perfect. Overall, it is a highly reliable, well-built, and budget-friendly clock that does exactly what it promises to do, as long as you do not mind a slightly clunky morning routine.

bright big numbers, easy to set and nice loud alarm.

This is a great little basic clock. Super easy to set the time and alarm. Very basic, simple, great compact size so it doesn’t take up too much space on the night stand.

Simple and straight forward. This is not a battery powered alarm clock, it has to be plugged into a standard electrical outlet. The 9volt battery is just for back up in case the power goes out (however, we unplugged it and it lost the time and the alarm program for some reason). Otherwise, it is as advertised. The alarm will jolt you awake.

Completely fulfills it's purpose, shows the time, can set an alarm. Personal I feel it's bright so you can definitely see the time on a dark room. I wish though that there was a control for the alarm volume, it is LOUD, so so LOUD. I have a little one at home who I don't want woke up when I get up, even with my door shut and their door shut you can hear the alarm clear as day. So if you need something that is loud so you dont sleep through it, this one is for you but if you have others in your home that you dont want up when the alarm goes off look elsewhere.
