Injecting done in a fraction of the time
The media could not be loaded. I do a lot of smoking as a hobby. Injecting using the old method of filling a syringe are history! It felt very sturdy in my hand. Zero leakage! It can be used for just about any kind of liquid but the holes in the needle would get plugged up easily. It is very easy to clean compared to the old syringes with a little soapy hot water, it cleans up in a jiffy! For the price, I’d gladly pay twice just because it does such a rock solid job injecting all my meats!

Designed to fail
Spring loaded backflow prevention plug will completely destroy this unit. Don’t buy this. Looks like your turkey will love this….but no. It will look awesome while being completely useless. Meet the source of our Thanksgiving frustration. If you look at the picture, you’ll see a small spring loaded piece of rubberized plastic. This plug can be found just behind the needle. Ideally, this should relax when the user squeezes the trigger then close to prevent backflow when the trigger is released. This prevents dribbles when moving around I guess. This plug is currently out of the unit due to device combustion. Something about beef broth evidently will cause this piece to weld in place. When that happened, the frustrated cook began disassembling the needle and checking for clogs that would cause this. The final attempt to pass the constipated injector fired the needle and it’s glued fastening point approx 300mps across the kitchen with a blast of broth. Not sure why this piece is even here as the natural vacuum created by the plunger renders this pointless. Therefore this has failure designed directly into the device. Why? Well, the rest of the device seemed to hold up well when the now hacked off cook tomohawk-dunked this piece of junk into the trash can. I recovered all the pieces and reassembled once blood pressure returned to normal. Assuming I can work the handle spring back together I may try to salvage this thing into a working device. Until then I’m sticking with my standard grocery store injector.

So much easier to use than the syringe type
I love this injector, makes injecting briskets and ribs so much easier and quicker.

My Hot Take, is that this is Hot Trash
Absolute garbage stay away. Not just this brand but any other ones that look the same. Clearly some Temu nonsense rebranded by them. It broke in my hands during its first use. I got a handful of squeezes of my injection into my pork but and then the handle and the whole thing broke apart.

does a good job
I have a smoker and cook turkeys, chickens and pigs. I use 16 to 32 ounces it is great to use instead of one of those little injectors. Hard to clean as expected do to the suction line. I get a bowl use hot water and dish soap. Pump it through and let it sit for a while then use clean water a few times. When you go to use it put oil on the O ring makes it last longer and works better

Still works after 2 years....
Ok, I purchased this in 2020 to replace my manual injector even though the reviews were just average. My manual injector worked fine but I wanted something that would make it easier to inject more than one pork butt. And....This is so much easier and faster to inject large pieces of meat. Plus, you can do it one handed.Just to be clear this review is for the "Oklahoma Joe's Trigger Marinade Injector". I hate reading reviews and its clearly not for the product you are interested in.After two years, (and I use it monthly) it still works and performs like the day I got it......... but you have to clean it thoroughly if you want it to work more than twice. Clean up is also "kinda" easy but you need to fully disassemble it and there isn't instructions on how to do so...... Hey Joe, put a piece of paper in the box with some pictures explaining how to clean everything and your average reviews will go way up..... no charge for that insight.... but if you want to throw something my way for this excellent review please feel free to do so. :) Hope this helps someone out there wanting a decent injector...

Junk Junk Junk
Biggest piece of junk I have ever wasted money on. I have always used the free injectors that came with creole butter and decided I would step up and buy a nice injector. Well that was a mistake. This thing has not worked right a single time. If it gets the smallest piece of spice through the hose it locks up. It will not create suction from that point forward. You can stand there with salmonella all over your hands and take it apart. Beat it on the sink. Cuss it. Fight with your spouse and it will start back to working for about 3 pumps. Then you have to repeat the process. Talk about ruining your thanksgiving turkey. 28 people depend on me and Oklahoma Joe to give them a good product and I had to go back and find a baby medicine syringe and Jerry rig a needle to it to get this thunderchicken on the grill. Do not buy this. I would rather use a chick-Fil-a coffee stirrer and spit the liquid into the bird before I use this junk again. I threw it in the trash and don’t even want a refund. Stupidity should cost you something and it’s going to cost me whatever I payed for this junk. I hope whoever the design team was gets fired and never try’s to design a poultry injector again.
