Good Heat Sink

Works
So I am using these for a couple things. The first use is as a vrm cooler for a and 6400+ thats being overclocked. Rigged 2 92mm fans to blow over it and they work really well. 2nd is for an RF switch that was getting hot. Same thing with a 92mm fan blowing across all of them they stay nice and cool. The given adhesive is pretty bad, but i bought for the copper

Great, pure copper
Great, pure copper, heatsinks! While the days of using them on VGA RAM are likely over, they still allow one to place these on small IC's on a variety of devices. Personally I have them on my Raspberry Pi's and other SBC (Single Board Computers) to help them dissapate as much heat as they can. While I don't overclock too much I primarily picked these up for the then, unreleased, Raspberry Pi 3 which had rumored early on (read: Reddit and other hobby/maker forums) to really put out some heat while over-utilized. While I've never had an issue with mine overheating, I cannot say it wasn't because of these heatsinks; since they have been on all 3 of my devices before they ever saw power. They stick well although some care MUST be taken to get the paper backing off the stick-pad as delicately as possible. I can imagine someone new or looking for something like this might heavy-hand it and get the sticky-pad dirty or fingerprinted. This will result in loss of sticking power and I can believe that possibly some lower than normal reviews were due to improper handling and use. Who knows exactly but the batch I've received have worked well and I'm storing them in a cool, dry place for future use. I expect no problems.

Work good!
Apparently the NZXT Kraken G10 isn't compatible with the Windforce version of the GTX 1060, but it worked for me. To cool the VRAM I used these nifty copper things. The block/pump housing of the liquid cooler I used (Corsair H55) overlapped two or three of the VRAM modules but there was enough clearance for these heatsinks to fit. The thermal tape didn't stick super well to the modules but that's probably because I didn't clean them off very well (heh). Overall, it work good! 9/10. (no half stars?)

Piece of mind
This is a piece of mind product, not necessarily something I can actually test or verify how successful it works. I recently liquid cooled my GTX 770 using the NZXT G10 Bracket and an older NZXT Kraken X40 AIO Liquid Cooler. The VRAM only had thermal pads on it and wasn't connected to any heatsink by default, but I got these to hopefully ensure that the card's longevity and performance won't be ruined by excessive heat especially considering I overclocked the card significantly. Installation: This was straight forward, although I do recommend using a razor to separate the adhesive protector from the actual thermal pad on the Copper heatsink. Trying to peel it off with your fingertip is a little crude and you might pull the thermal pad instead. The heatsinks themselves were nearly perfect size for the VRAM. Once you place it down the heatsinks aren't cemented in place, even if you apply pressure, which means you can remove them easily or adjust them as needed but really it is pretty simple to install. Conclusion: My monitoring software doesn't measure VRAM temperatures to decipher if these heatsinks make any improvement, again it was piece of mind for about $7 ++ Update ++ I recently did some minor changes to my computer and that's when I found some of these heat sinks laying inside the case as they had fallen off the VRAM. That is a bit disappointing and obviously makes them ineffective if they are not applied. I was able to reapply them and held them in place firmly for about 10 seconds and they appear to have adhered again. Though I suspect they'll fall off again. I lowered my rating from 5 to 3 stars upon this discovery.

Solid copper. Not coated. Quality product.
It's a heatsink, it does what it's designed to do. I inspected them, they are for sure solid copper. I didn't use the included double sided tape, I used the Sywon Professional Thermal Adhesive Conductive Tape Double Sided Cooling Tape found here on Amazon. Buy the good stuff if you can instead of using the included cheap simple double sided tape, it does make a difference for thermal transfer and it adheres so much better, the heatsinks will NOT move. Makes great heatsinks for Raspberry Pi's that kind of stuff. I use them for Phat XBOX 360 Memory chips and the bridge chips too. Helps cool the RAM up a bit more.

Great for aftermarket GPU RAM cooling!
Gaming on a GTX 980 with a stock cooler results in up to 80C avg temps. Long story short - I have installed an aftermarket CPU cooler and these RAM heatsinks. Though the aftermarket cooler indicates It wasn't necessary to install any chips on the RAM I decided to do so anyway. As a result, both the GPU AND it's RAM top off at 32-38 C while gaming at max settings on either of the games mentioned below. I've paired this product up with the Arctic Accelero 140 on my Reference NVIDIA GTX980 and it's done marvelously for the past two months. I run my machine on a 2K monitor @ 144hz (ASUS PQ27) and in the past when two games I've played recently, Rise of the Tomb Raider and Overwatch, would cause my frame rates to top out due to 'thermal limits' per a program called GPUZ @80 C, I decided to ditch the stock cooler. I also have an HTC Vive and while playing games like The Solus Project, Out of Ammo, and Job Simulator, I've noticed a decrease if not a complete lack of stuttering, indicating frame rates are staying above 90fps at all times. Needless to say, a gaming machine's performance is dependant on the sun of its components and these RAM chips have been a reliable if not small part of my positive overall experience. After two months I have not had any of the chips fall off, which was an initial concern since the RAM chips are hanging off of the video card as opposed to sitting on top of it as a result of the way the card is traditionally mounted within my PC.

Adhesive is terrible and contact surface was not flat!
There are pure garbage. About half of the heatsinks in the pack weren't flat on the backside. One half of the surface area was flat but the other half was beveled like someone took a shop grinder to them. It's kind of hard to get good surface area contact when they aren't completely flat. Also, the adhesive on the back was worthless. I bought them to use for the Kraken G12 water cooling mod for my GTX 1080 Founders Edition graphics card, and I took all the necessary precautions- I used 99% alcohol to clean the chips' surface area first before sticking the heatsinks to them, but they just slid around and fell off as soon as you turned the graphics card over to install it into a PCI-E slot. I have never bought such a poor quality product as this before.

Seem to work, average adhesive
Seem to work fine in terms of managing memory temps, the adhesive isn't that good. I had a couple fall off.
