This engineering, perfectionist mind encourages you to consider this well engineered product.
There is a lot to like about this air purifier. I have edited this review after owning it for several months.I had researched many air purifiers and chose the large model of this one. I have no relationship with the manufacturer. I purchased this machine at full price. I have a strong engineering, geeky, perfectionist mindset. There are several technical and engineering reasons I like this purifier and recommend it.Many purifiers don’t have an adequate seal from their filter. This one has a tight seal so incoming air is forced through the filter. The filter frame has a large screw plate that insures a tight seal. The filter is a cylinder so air enters in from 360 degrees. This machine has a unique remote sensor that can read the air quality from 49 feet away. This causes the unit to continuously measure the air quality and adjust the fan speed to accommodate any rise in air pollution. For this reason, I leave my unit on “automatic” setting and the noise volume sounds like a hard drive from a computer or dvd drive motor - very pleasant white noise. I have four dogs that “play” inside. They also play in our half acre back yard so they bring in lots of undesired air challenges. This machine shows a large digital readout of the air quality. It also shows a colored light display. The blue light says that the air quality is good whereas a red light on top declares the air quality is being worked on and is being remediated. The machine disperses the outgoing air in an effective discharge in two directions. The machine is cosmetically pleasing to the eye. I also like that there is a large internal UV blue light that kills dangerous pathogens. Although there are machines larger and more expensive, in my opinion, this is an excellent purifier to consider for the large area it can clean and desirable features it has for the purchase price point of $400. The replaceable filter elements are reasonably priced for how long they last. All this to say, I highly recommend this air purifier. This is one of those “no brainer” decisions as well as peace of mind in purchasing it and let it protect the air in your home. I appreciate being able to get something dependable and take a concern off my mind. There is a notification when the filter needs changing. This helps simplify and improves my family’s quality of health. You might check out the manufacturer’s website because there are occasional promotions not available on Amazon.

Extremely energy efficient with good performance!
The trusense z2000 model is great to look at. Airflow seems nice and strong at speed 2 and turbo mode. While anything lower than that like speed 1 and whisper mode seem useless, I'm sure they still provide at least a small amount of filtration. The dc motor in these units seems of great quality, with no motor hum of any kind at any speed. I have this unit in the living room of my 800sq/ft apartment. While the living room isn't huge, it is attached to the kitchen which opens the space up quite a bit. I have the unit right in the center of the room. I have run 24/7 on turbo mode for the last week I have owned it, and I absolutely tell a great difference in room smell for one, I'm a vegan who cooks with a lot of onions and garlic, and as we all know, in a small place creates a stank. My girlfriend and I also have 2 rabbits a 20lb dog as well as a cat, and wow the place feels significantly more fresh. I must say the filter that comes with the unit seems of extremely good quality and with the depth and thickness of the filter should truly last 6 months or more, with a monthly cleaning of the velcroed pre filter! The particle sensor works extremely well and speaks quickly with the purifier itself. I demoed by vaping a huge cloud semi close but not directly on the sensor and within 2 seconds the numbers started climbing on the purifier itself!!! Auto mode does work very well, but mine will stay on turbo 24/7 for best performance. Also for anyone who actually wants this for the uv light aspect of it, then it should be a great choice for you, the design of where the bulb is located is perfect for best performance and no weird glowing uv light on outside of unit. If I had to add cons to this unit, they would be 1st No remote with unit or wifi capabilities, however the sensor like buttons have an awesome feel and sound when pressed.2nd, I do believe for the cost of this unit, the unit should be slightly wider and taller. Would I buy another one of these? Absolutely but even for a 10x10 bedroom or slightly larger, I'd still want at least the z-2000 model, as the smallest model is neither dc motored nor does it actually seem like it would be suitable for anything larger than a master bathroom.EDIT- so after 1 month and 2 days of using this almost always on turbo mode, I've noticed a decrease in filtering... for almost a whole month any amount of vapor blown thru this came nothing out of the top. However it now seems to only capture about half of whatever vape is blown thru it. I've reinstalled the filter multiple times to see if maybe it had some sort of sealing issue, but other than screwing on the cap at the base of the model as tight as possible "without breaking it" seems to have no effect. It's kind of sad really because about a year ago I had purchased a "Filtrete 3m small air purifier" for 60 bucks from wal-mart, which had optional hepa filters to buy separate which I did. It was an additional 17.99 for the filter. This purifier while lacking a dc motor "not a big deal since still energy star certified " to date seems to completely remove any amount, no matter how large of vapor. I am now slightly disappointed in the trusense z-2200 for the fact that I spent more than three times the amount on doesn't compare in filtration after 1 month of use. For anyone looking for something to decrease e-cig vapors in your home might want to look elsewhere. I hope this update helps

Smaller in size but works great!
Packaging was great and came with clear instructions. It is touch which is super convenient and has 3 intensity levels. 1 being very quiet, 2 is a soft but forceful blow and turbo which is a little loud but not annoying. I purchased two of them and set them on 2 for a few hours then 1 at night for sleeping. I noticed a difference soon thereafter with freasher air and no smells. The size is perfect for a mid size room and very durable. I would definitely recommend.

Does the job well. Could have done without the air quality sensor.
It’s a good quality air purifier for sure. It looks sleek too. I love the button that turns off all the lights for sleeping. However, I do wish they offered a cheaper medium sized unit without the air quality sensor. It’s nice that the fan can run higher automatically if there is poor quality air, but I mostly run this overnight at speed 2. When using the sensor, the fan will not rev up that high unless the air quality is very very poor- only if you placed the unit in a smoky kitchen or were a smoker and recently lit up for instance. The UV bacteria killing functionality is a cool addition, but again if there were a cheaper model of the same size without that feature, I would have preferred to buy that. And I would trade the air quality sensor or the UV light for a simple remote control. Or to have the option to turn off the sounds it makes when you press its buttons. I don’t mind the sounds (they aren’t very loud and they sound elegant) but the option would be nice for some users, I’m sure. Overall I am happy with my purchase and would buy again from this company. I appreciate the quality of the unit. It seems sturdy and well worth the investment in the long term. (I’ve been using it for over a month now and have experienced no issues whatsoever).
