Nothing particularly good, but not bad either. If you need non-slip, give them a try for sure.
I bought these shoes needing to replace my absolutely destroyed pair of shoes for work. I stand all day, but my feet are pretty normal and I have no foot problems so I figured these should do the trick. I picked them out for the price, the reviews, and they look very plain and simple which I really like.first impressions before wearing them in were pretty good right away. They looked just as good as in the picture, and the quality of construction is right in line for what you would expect for a shoe in this price range. After wearing them around for a little while though some problems were really obvious. Keep in mind these could just be my specific pair, my feet, or my size (I wear a size 7).First the toe space is narrow and stiff. Not near as bad as some others I have tried, and not bad enough to not wear them, but it is there. Second and this is the worst problem, is that parts of the bottom of the shoe are curved up and dig into the sides of my feet right around and behind the ball of my foot. I tried but could not reposition anything or work the material to make it much better. Currently I have just been wearing thick socks and getting used to it and it is now tolerable. The heel height should also be mentioned. I hate a really tall heel, they just feel really awkward to me, and this shoe has a very moderate height to it so that is a nice plus. The non slip grip seems to help, but is not foolproof, I can still lose traction on wet surfaces but it is a lot better than my previous shoes. The insole is really thin, and while not that uncomfortable I find this annoying because if you want to put in a new insole, you can't put in a thicker one without using up a lot of space in the shoe. The shoes come with a little rubber non slip icon attached at the front which looks hideous. I didn't cut it off just in case I needed to return them, but I did replace the lace and took it off that way which I recommend. The best thing I have to say about these shoes is that the little cushion in the back is pretty nice. The heel is the most comfortable part of the shoe. I will almost certainly not buy these again but I would say give them a try if you destroy your shoes and will need to keep buying new ones. These are not that much, and you could end up liking them alot of they happen to fit you well.Edit: I have been wearing these for months and they have broken in well. The problems with them causing discomfort have gone away over time and I am quite satisfied with them, I think they deserve 4 stars post break in. Unfortunately there is no way to skip the break in period.

Mismatched pair twice......
So I must have some incredibly bad luck because I originally ordered a size 11 and received a right in size 11 and a left in size 10. Needless to say it worked out as I returned them for an 11 wide as the one I was able to try on was a little narrow. The replacements arrived and I now have a left in 11 wide which got perfect and a right in 9.5 wide needless to say I wasn't able to try that on...... I couldn't help but laugh.Returned that pair as well and went to the Skechers Outlet in town to purchase, when I was checking out I told the cashier my story and she laughed as she was checking the sizes and said "yeah that sounds like something we do"In all this Amazon was quick with shipping a replacement pair immediately, and then processing my refund on the second one which was back in my account 2 hours after I stopped the return off at a UPS store. Now for the shoes......They are a tad on the narrow side, but to be fair my feet are also borderline width wise it just depends on the brand. They are comfortable right off the bat although I did break them in by wearing them around the house for 2 days prior to wearing them to work. I find them to require more than a simple damp cloth to wipe clean when they get crud dropped on them which I expected seeing as I work back of house. The non slip sole isn't great, but definitely above average for the price range and will keep you from falling on the keester.TLDR; Skechers has horrible QC, and Amazon is great with their returns and speed of which they process refunds. These shoes are comfortable and the non slip sole works, probably better for front of house staff who don't deal with crap constantly falling on their feet.

A step up from Dr. Scholls
I'm typically on me feet 6-10 hours a day 5-6 days a week. I've used Dr. Scholls a couple of times because they were available locally and I need something quick. both times they were very uncomfortable until broken in, and both of them I had to replaced the gel inserts they came with for a separately purchased Dr. Scholls inserts that were better quality. Pretty ridiculous that the company that markets itself in foot comfort has to have its branded shoes improved right out of the box to be somewhat comfortable.Still, they were never great for comfort, and by the end of the day my feet would hurt a lot. Anything over 8 hours became brutal. Still, I persevered until they were worn out. When it came time to buy new shoes I decided to give these a try. I have to say they are a massive improvement over the last shoes I had. Break-in period wasn't too long and they were pretty decent even then. Now that they are broken in I feel much less discomfort even after long shifts. Its not like walking on a pillow of air and I still feel pain at the end of a long day, but its no where near as bad, and that's with the stock soles. They seem to be holding up after a few months of use too.I give it 4 stars for 2 reasons. The first reason is that while a lot better, they aren't perfect, this could be helped by a sole insert with better arch support, but the problem (and this is my second and main problem with the shoes) is that the soles are glued in and don't want to come out. With the inserts I have placed on top of the ones in there now it feels tight in the shoe. So I wish they weren't glued in.Still, for the price and the marked improvement, I would buy these again.

Too good for work
I've always just worn shoes that are past their best for garden work up till now. Needless to say they are very comfortable but don't last long. I've tried work boots and shoes (with steel toe caps) but find them to be too heavy and uncomfortable. So when I finally ran out of "old" shoes to wear, I decided to take the plunge and "buy" a pair of sturdy but comfortable purpose built shoes just for gardening. After reading many reviews, including good and bad, I chose these and despite agreeing with general opinion that they are too good for work, I love them and have never spent as many happy hours in the garden.

GREAT SHOES
I find it difficult getting comfy work shoes as I am a size 12 wide fitting. On arrival I tried these shoes on expecting them to be tight and in need of breaking in but instead they are a snug supportive fit and are like walking on air even after a 9 hour shift at work constantly on my feet. My only complaint is the style of lacing but that's a 5 min job to put right.Would I buy another pair? To right I would I have paid a lot more for top brands that have left me feeling crippled.
