This is great for beach sand, the sand goes right though it, great base layer to put your towel on.

Sand goes right through it and doesn’t go away. I would not recommend this as a beach mat.

Definitely not sand free but it does help keep it under control. Less sand on your towel. The mat itself is not super comfortable to lay on, but it's fine with your towel on top of it. Some sand does come up through mesh. The stakes are nice to keep it spread out. Can't say I love it but I don't hate it either. I still use it every time I go to the beach. There is no possible way to escape all the sand

Perfect for our beach time.

Did exactly what it was supposed to! Kept sand off my stuff. I laid a beach blanket on top and it didn’t get dirty or sandy! You could also use it alone without a blanket on top and it’s still comfy & keeps sand off! Definitely a must have for days at the beach!

This was a great deal for the money. It's not comfortable to lay on, so we put towels on top but it helped keep the sand from going everywhere
