Limited Unisex Cardigan

My daughter is not a fan of this cardigan, but she is so attached to her scruffy, worn Bhs scalloped-edge cardigan that I believe she'd turn her nose up at anything but what she is used to. The Trutext cardigan is very similar to her official school cardigan, but without the emblem and for a fraction of the price. Aged 6, my daughter is of slim build but is very tall. Usually I buy 6-7 or 7-8 to offset her height, but judging by the reviews here, I opted for a size 5-6 as it sounded like the 7-8 would be far too large. The cardigan was quite long, and roomy enough for a much wider child. The sleeves were a good fit length-wise but ample space in the width. It's fair to say it's not a skinny-fit cardigan, but one that would be fine for average or bigger sized children. There is plenty of room for growth and I know this will still fit her comfortably when she turns 7. I prefer these cardigans - they are soft, warm and great for winter and always wash well and don't shrink, wear or age badly like the cheaper ones you can get.

I am a size 12 and I bought one of these to keep in the car, as an extra layer. They fit nicely and there are some nice colours plus they are for children so much cheaper. They wash beautifully @40 degrees and no bobbling. OK this won't be your most fashionable garment but it is very practical so I end up wearing it far more than my expensive cashmere.

Love this cardigan. My 5yr old hates the heavy school jumpers. Have ordered a second one already. Went for 7/8 yrs & it’s perfect with growing room 👌

Perfect basic, cheap cardigan. Does the job, is comfortable and looks great. No idea how long it will last, but it is cheap after all!

The cosiness of this cardigan is excellent, it"s the first thing my daughter noticed. The fit is excellent. Quality is excellent. My daughter loves it.

A really good quality cardigan. They’re nice and soft and they’re a really nice red. Has been worn and washed a couple of times and has held up well so far. Fit is true to size. I’m very happy with my purchase. These are much better quality than the cheap cardigans I’ve purchased from Asda and Poundstretcher.

Nothing to like here, except maybe that blue colour was as in picture. The size 2-3 was far too small for my almost 2 year old, and though he is slim it wouldn't fit around his chest. Fabric didn't feel nice. And mine arrived with some discolouration to the back as well. Wouldn't recommend.

Such good quality. I’ve bought these before and have chose to purchase them again because they last much longer than supermarket bought school cardigans. Much more comfy and cosier as well.
