I have purchased wire from Remington Industries before. I always know that I am going to get exactly what I paid for. This time around, there was a problem with one of the spools, the yellow one. I use an automatic wire stripper, and all of the wire colors except for the yellow one stripped with no problem whatsoever. I tried repeatedly to strip the yellow wire with the wire stripper with a precision 22 AWG die with no luck. When I went to the next smaller wire gauge die, 24 AWG, the yellow wire was stripped with no problem at all. I think that I got one smaller wire gauge spool in error. It is also possible that the PTFE on the yellow wire is thinner than it is on the other colors. I am not going to return the spool because I need it right away, and it won't make much difference.
