Does exactly what it says! This one is 23 g protein, 250 calories, 21 g carbs. What's not to like
Product is great but I have to complain that more and more as this one did — it’s say handed directly to customer. This is false. I ordered them in such a way to get these one day and the 10 Oz bottles on another day due to the weight of the box if they package all together. They didn’t come as I ordered to arrive on separate days. Which meant the box weighed 12 lbs. (12 bottles x 16 Oz each - 192 Oz, 8 lbs to the liquid gallon, comes out to be 12 lbs.); plus 16 lbs. ( just shy of another 2 gal. x 8 lbs to the gallon = 16 lbs; 240 Oz -128 oz or 1 gallon = 8 lbs, with 112 oz left over — 128-112=16 oz. So to make it easy and round off just said 2 lbs total.2 lbs x 2 = 16 lbs.. Total weight for twelve 16 oz bottles and the twenty-four 10 oz bottles equals 28 lbs. This is a bit heavy for me all in one box. Plus the box was put on my porch in the chair that I have for the purpose. It absolutely wasn’t handed to me- I didn’t see the guy much less take a package from him. This isn’t the first time either. In all of the time that I have been buying from Amazon, think only have 1 time where they actually handed me a package. The delivery people need to stop making false reports. What if these such marked purchases had been 1) been delivered to the wrong address as has happened before and I have to wait until someone brings it to me or they just keep it or as in one case the people were out of town for 3-4 months. A friend was getting all their mail and packages and putting inside their house, never looked at the little small box for correct name/address. When they returned months later, realized the issue and put the package on porch in a grocery bag with a note saying they were sorry for the delay and explained so I called Amazon to reverse the claim and to have them bill me twice as I got it twice (they didn’t and thanked me for calling). Or 2) it’s just flat stolen off my porch. No matter what happens, I don’t have my purchase. I call Amazon (or really have them call me) to file a claim, and they say it was reported that it was handed to me or someone at this address which since I lived alone means me. And I’m stuck — it could be something expensive or something cheap. I mean the shipper only has his driver’s word for it and it says it was handed to me. And Amazon has mine that it wasn’t. If there is any insurance on the item, that might help depending on its cost. But it doesn’t happen quick, and I don’t have my item at all plus it puts a bad mark against me saying I was trying to get money for something For all I know the driver never delivered it. This is why I like Amazon’s drivers because they have to take a picture of where they left it as proof. This has helped before when I could prove the picture wasn’t of my house — it was someone’s house but not mine. And they wanted me to drive around and figure out who and I was like I’m disabled, not going out trying to track a package. Nor walk from neighbor to neighbor trying to see if they have it. That’s the shipper — they get all these other packages here so they driver knows the area ought to be able to get it right. I think sometimes they just get lazy or in to big a hurry when pulling the packages. A long way to say — getting the delivery info correct is a big deal. And I wish UPS, USPS, and FedX would get their act together so their drivers would have to photograph where they left it too. It will cost them money for a photo capable cellphone if they don’t already have phones for each driver, but they should make it up on claims cost, and customer frustration. Not to mention drivers who decide to stop at home with a couple of packages or call friends to pick packages up from some delivery addresses - they do know the shipper and what kinda of stuff they sell (medications, electronics, jewelry, small appliances etc. that can all be resold on eBay or local flea markets). They probably have some security method to prevent such issues but maybe not. I’d have every truck fitted with cameras all sides and inside with microphones. Bought in bulk would be smart and might help with picking up accident info, and street crime too. It is hard to believe the volume of packages stolen is just consequence, or flight of whimsy as someone drives down the street. In terms of filling you up - it does. In terms of keeping you full for a longer period of time - it does. In terms of keeping your sugars from spiking - it does. In terms of your endocrinologist or diabetes doctor recommending - mine does whole heartily.Look none of these products taste like a good ole full fat, thick, rich chocolate milkshake. Sorry. That said - I find them very acceptable and since I can't have the old desserts -- this helps with wanting a chocolate creamy taste. Its not thick like a milkshake but it's a bit more creamy than milk. I keep both the 10 oz and the 16 oz on hand and in the refrigerator. The 10 oz I use for snacks or a quick boost if I'm running low sugar wise and the 16 oz for actual meal replacement. Personally, I don't much like any of these types of nutritional drinks if not super cold. I keep mine in the coldest part and even sometimes pour over ice, let sit for a minute or so and then strain but most of time, if in the frig for 24 hours, they are cold enough. If you have an old fashion metal cocktail shaker with strainer - that works great too and then pour in frosty glass. I keep my frig a little colder than some do so you will have to decide with your own taste buds. It says not to freeze and I understand why but sometimes I stick mine in the freezer for 5-10 minutes (no longer) to get really cold and then shake well. It has never frozen at all really but does get really cold.I also like that both containers - though different - can be recycled. I recycle everything possible.PS - not a glucerna product but another good "knock the hunger off" and taste treat plus being okayed by the diabetes doc is Nature Valley Protein Bar. Its like 15 grams of carbs, 10 g protein and is very tasty. I get the Peanut, Almond, Dark Chocolate (and sunflower seed) or the Salted Caramel Nut. These are great - a candy bar without the heavy sweet sugar. But buy local - 1/2 the price of what's on Amazon. $3.69 and many times $1.00 off 2 boxes at Kroger. .64 versus $1.40/bar There is also a peanut butter one but I'm not as fond of it even though I love peanut butter. They have other protein bar flavors but its harder to find them. But do watch some of their energy bars, etc are much higher in sugar etc.

Curbs you're apetite
This Glucerna Hunger Smart has the correct amount of contents to actually curb you're hunger. Not sure how many more ounces this has compared to the regular size Glucerna, but it fills up you're belly better. Granted, it has a bit less protein in it, but it will help you from looking to eat a slice of pizza in a few hours ! Personally, I drink 2 of them for breakfast, and I'm not looking to eat again until dinner time. It tastes delicious, not too thick either. Lost about 5 lbs already just by skipping lunch. I'm happy with this product.

Reasonable price keeps me ordering more
I use these to keep weight on my husband. They are not too thick or lumpy. I have at.least 2 a day because I am gluten intolerant and it is an easy, tasty, reasonably priced protein shake.

Better than most protein meal replacements
Although it’s great directly from the fridge, I also enjoy blending it with ice and my two favorite add-ins (strawberries/bananas or peanut butter/banana). Not only is it “refreshing”, but filling as well.

FU Diabetes!
I have a sweet tooth...No surprise why I am a diabetic. These are perfect for helping curb your appetite as well as allowing for a sweet taste without killing your glucose levels. OF all the supplements I have tried, these, in my opinion, taste the best. My only complaint is that they are a bit pricey. Still, the cost and use of this is far better than going down the sugar rabbit hole and having to deal with high sugar.
