Good, cheap fun for a kid
I just recently took my son 7 yr old to the Kennedy Space Center and was looking for something small that he could play with to continue his interest in space science. This set was a perfect collection of the main rockets we saw in the rocket garden along with the space shuttle. He got lots of other cool, expensive toys for Christmas but this was the one he ended up liking the most and playing with. The rockets are small and the pointy bits are made with a rubbery plastic so they are not as dangerous or fragile as they might look. Pretty good recreation of the rockets too. This is a hands-on toy that a kid can play with and not worry about breaking. Perfect for their pretend space travels. If you are looking for something more grow-up or larger or for display, maybe this isn't for you. but if you want a kid's toy to play with, my son loved it.

Very Good. Fuel Tank Hooks Do Break.
UPDATE 11/15/2017: Yes, this thing will last up to three months of regular playing by a 3-5 year old. No longer than that. The plastic clips are too easy to break & you will lose the rockets. My son wants a new one because he misses having it working & complete. lol So I guess I'm ordering a new one.Original review: My 5 year old LOVED this set. He's nuts about space and anything scientific. I knocked one star off because like other reviews warned, the little hooks on the shuttle's fuel tank do break off and the rockets can't attach. I used super glue to fix it a few times. Tried tape when that kept failing. It lasted about a month of regular playing before having any issues. I would consider buying it again since it's so cheap. Or maybe I'll upgrade to a better shuttle. He seems to only be interested in the shuttle with the boosters and fuel tank.

Not recommended for kids, cheaply made
They could have been better but they weren’t and my boys kept it because it’s too much of a hassle to return. Not recommended for children. They don’t stand up and it’s a hassle to stand them—used tape. Very cheaply made for the price!

Very small
This arrived already opened, the toys were extremely small for the price, I would have sent this back if it wasn't my kids birthday. I also thought this was going to be made of metal , but it was made of bendable rubber/plastic. I attached pictures with my hand to show size (fyi- I have small hands)

Longest Toy Running
We have bought this toy for my space-loving kid for like 2-3 years now. It seems like the little pieces that attach the rocket to the booster can sometimes get broken, so we have bought this toy a few times. Even still, he is just as excited to open it up as the first time. We say it's our longest running toy to date. At this point I'm wondering if we should just stock up for the rest of his elementary years. I would not say that they break easily, I would just say that my kid plays with them ALOT. If you have a shuttle lover then this is a pretty cool toy in as much as the boosters, shuttle and external tank all come apart, which makes "separation" that much better. lol

How did the USA get to the Moon?
Great precursor so kids understand how we got to SpaceX, ULA and NASA. Very detailed and convenient for display.
