After years of dealing with painful sex, because of being post-menopausal, this has REALLY helped. I actually enjoy sex with my husband now. Here's the way I use this product: First, it helps to use Key-E suppository every other day even when you're NOT having sex. Best to use at night as you slip into bed so it doesn't leak. I'm finding it also increases my libido somewhat by using it in between intimate times. Then, about 15 minutes before intercourse, using an internal applicator, I fill the applicator with a water-based personal moisturizer (Emerita) along with the Key-E suppository on the end of the applicator (at the same time). You could skip the personal moisturizer if you feel you don't need it. But I've tried the Emerita personal moisturizer alone without the Key-E suppository and all I get is pain. The Key-E has the oil in it that has made the difference. Here's what convinced me...The fact that the Key-E works even if I haven't had sex in a few weeks. Because of painful sex, I used to avoid sex, which led to more pain. I feared the lag after 2 weeks of no sex, but haven't had pain in any of the subsequent times of intimacy. If you need extra lubrication and you don't fancy water-based moisturizer, you might consider inserting 2 Key-E suppositories before sex (giving them time to melt inside before proceeding with intercourse). I have NOT had to ever use 2 of them. Also, I noticed that the feeling and sensitivity during sex has increased with Key-E. Many products "dull" the pleasure and natural feeling of sex, where this one enhances it. This product helped me to see and feel what I've been missing for so long and didn't know I was missing. Wow!
