Biology of Plants, 7th Edition

Best Plant Biology Text Everrrrrrr
This is the best plant biology text (and one of the best texts, period) I have ever come across. Not that I am a connoisseur of biology textbooks, or anything, but over the years, I've had to read enough of textbooks to know a good one when I see it. It is written in clear and engaging style, easily read and understood.Teachers, professors: be kind to your plant biology students, and use this text.

Fine substitute for the eighth edition.
I'm in a class that "requires" the eighth edition but upon collaboration and review with my professor we've found this text lacking very little. Difficulty in understanding concepts within are not a fault of the authors, publishers, or student for that matter. These are the guiding principals of life itself, and it's like your mother said, life is complicated. I paid fifteen dollars for this book, and the eighth edition is more than $200 at my university bookstore. I HIGHLY recommend you buy this one.

A good textbook
Book arrived quickly and in good condition, professor said it was "a necessary utensil". I never opened it. What I read on my own was factual and easy to understand.

I enjoyed this book
I love this book, nice level of information density, definitely a keeper. They might have a new edition by now, but the information was as up to date as can be expected when I bought this book.

for beginning and extensive
students interested in the field of plant biology, Evert provides enough material for the text to be used at the basic and intermediate, i'd venture to say advanced level in many cases, so over all, the text is of great value to any student or simple lover of plants who would like to delve a little deeper than the vegetable garden.

Boom was sealed, wrapped, and brand new.
Book is full of beautiful pictures and details. Very informative. It’s also hard covered so it will last a while. A great keep and future gift for those passionate about botany.

A great resource for a botany student
A thorough and comprehensive book that explains botany in a way that's easier to understand if one hasn't had a science class in sometime. This book is reasonably priced compared to other text books.

Beautiful!
I love this book. The writing is very easy to understand. The illustrations inside are so well done and clear, and i love how the cover is a painting, since I did a lot of drawing in this class, which was my favourite part. I'm definitely keeping this book around for a reference.
